PURPOSE
As a Feed Delivery Driver at Central Valley Ag, you will be responsible for delivering great customer service by the delivery of feed products to customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for prompt feed delivery in bulk, bag or liquid.
Performs daily truck inspections with documentation.
Filling out DOT and maintenance logs.
Maintains and services feed truck to make sure it is in proper working order.
Assists in monitoring inventories of bulk, liquid, and bagged feed.
Follows policies and procedures of HACCP program.
Helps with the loading of feed products for customers.
Assists with scale and counter operations.
Supports feed sales and marketing efforts.
Helps manage and conduct inventory.
Communicates customer complaints to supervisor.
Provides excellent customer service and customer relations.
Performs general maintenance of buildings, equipment and vehicles, including necessary documentation.

Seed Inventory Oversight
Strategically manages seed inventory within allowable guidelines and ensures that accurate orders (correct product, treatment, package type, etc.) are maintained in Evolve, SeedWare, CropEdge, etc., within appropriate timeframes.
Leads forecasting and replenishment planning to align inventory with demand trends, Partner allocations, and regional growth objectives.
Works with assigned sales regions to assess and manage in-season floor stock of seed to maximize seed sales.
Seed Process Implementation, Oversight and Improvement
Implements seed policies and procedures within assigned regions, including seed billing processes, transfers, PO's/BOL's, centralized ordering (Seed Admins), accounting software, seed order forms, LCR tracking, and seed programs.
Proactively identifies and implements process innovations that enhance efficiency, reduce variance, and strengthen CVA's competitive position.
Works closely with Seed Admins to ensure the centralized ordering process operates accurately and efficiently.
Provides support to accounting and locations in troubleshooting issues with seed billing, inventory discrepancies, GPOS, etc.
Develops training and reference materials to support understanding of seed processes and procedures.
Seed Administration Oversight
Provides seed administration oversight and direct supervision of the regional Seed Administrator by working with sales locations, the AP Seed Specialist, and Seed Admins to ensure accurate and timely submission of LCR, replants, GPOS, customer complaints, and grower licenses.
Uses reporting and analytics to identify business trends, partner performance, and improvement opportunities; communicates strategic recommendations to the Seed Team and management.
Communicates, strategizes, and collaborates with other Seed Coordinators at Central Valley Ag.
Works with Seed Partners to stay abreast of sales metrics, inventory, programs, deadlines, and reports, and effectively communicates them to assigned areas and the Seed Team.
Manages seed-related deadlines within assigned regions and ensures Partner equipment contracts are current.
Collaborates with RSMs, ROMs, and the Director of Seed to determine CapEx needs for seed equipment and infrastructure.
Researches and maximizes seed equipment cost-share programs through Seed Partners.
Collaborates with Operations Managers and locations on execution of seed equipment and infrastructure projects.
Works with RSMs, ROMs, locations, and Seed Team to develop and execute a soybean bulk strategy.
Provides input to the Seed Team on sales and marketing tactics and grower programs.
Seed Treatment Processes
Works with the Director of Specialty Products and Operations Teams to ensure that seed treatment equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
Develops forward-looking seed treatment capacity plans and process improvements to meet emerging customer needs and regional growth.
Assists location operations and sales in training on operation of seed treatment equipment and procedures.
Safety
Collaborates with the Safety and Operations Teams to ensure that seed equipment and seed-related activities meet safety requirements.
Supervisor Responsibilities
Directly supervises the Seed Administrator assigned to the region. Provides leadership, coaching, and guidance to ensure accurate and efficient seed ordering, billing, and reporting processes. Responsible for performance management, training, and ongoing development of the Seed Admin to align with CVA's operational and customer service standards.

Corporate Security
Research current industry cybersecurity best practices. Develop a strategy and lead the implementation of the best cybersecurity practice standards accordingly.
Prepare and report security metrics (KPIs) at defined intervals based on the adopted cybersecurity framework (CSC 18, NIST, SANS, etc.) and identified baselines.
Implement and facilitate a cyber security awareness user training program for all employees. Define, develop and present performance metrics associated to the training to report the progress and performance of the company.

Perform active Threat hunting, looking for indicators of threats and indicators of compromise.
Perform network vulnerability assessments through periodic visits (as prescribed by the V.P. Information Technology) to the Kansas Intelligence Fusion Center and communicate assessment results with the V.P. Information Technology.
Perform internal vulnerability assessments and plan a strategy for remediation.
Review and update the Corporate Cybersecurity Incident Response (IR) Plan and associated IR Playbooks defining the process used to investigate security breaches and other cyber security incidents.
Document security breaches and assess the damage caused as laid out in the Corporate Cybersecurity Incident Response Plan.
Organize and execute an annual penetration test with an outside firm. Work with the other members of the IT Dept. to remediate any weakness.
Assist in the purchase of cybersecurity related IT hardware and software.
As Midwest Energy is required by the North American Electric Reliability Corp. (NERC) and the relevant Reliability Entity to adhere to internal standards, procedures, and maintenance practices related to Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP), the Corporate Network and Corporate Data Center infrastructure might, on occasion, be impacted by these compliance standards. This position will assist in the compliance measures as they relate to the Corporate Network and Corporate Data Center infrastructure.
Leadership
Lead and champion the implementation of the corporate defined security program set forth by the Center for Internet Security (CIS) and defined as the 18 Critical Security Controls (CSC 18) or any other adopted security framework such as NIST, SANS, etc.
