Working at Watson-Marlow

Had a great team working for Aflex Hose. We had a great company until Watson Marlow bought us out and micromanaged our company to death. We had to stop production for a 2 hour course on how to climb a ladder. We still made our monthly quota.

Micromanagement!!! They came in when they bought Aflex and admitted they have no idea what or how we build the hoses, but about 2 months later they were trying to tell us what we were doing wrong. Moved our location up to Massachusetts and we were told that if we wanted to stay with the company we would have to fill out an application. We were all fully trained and working for 10 years. When a few of my coworkers filled out the application they quickly realized that they were expecting us to move to Massachusetts and take a 40% paycut.

Good benefits to start and then they screw you!

Absolutely nothing! They lie through their teeth! Be warned. Sounds good in the beginning but then you get to know their true colors.

Stop micromanaging and stop lying to the employees.

I worked at their subdivision company for 16 years and had to still fill out a resume to continue with the company.

It was good when they bought us out but they wanted to cut that by 40%.

Good,if you consider they want to pay unskilled foreigners a lot less than Americans.
