How you'll help us achieve it
Wave is now the largest financial institution in Senegal and Côte d'Ivoire, with millions of users, growing rapidly year-on-year. And, we're still in the early days of our product roadmap and potential impact on people's everyday lives.
At Wave, Product Managers:
Lead cross-functional teams with full ownership of their product domain
Define product goals, metrics, and roadmaps based on user needs and mission impact
Drive user research, especially in-market across Africa user understanding with both in-person research and data-driven perspectives
Write clear, compelling design docs and facilitate async, fast-moving decision-making
Over-communicate context, priorities, and decisions to ensure team alignment
Adjust priorities quickly based on feedback, experiments, or new learnings
Solve problems holistically, whether through product features, ops tooling or process changes
Champion our users and hold us accountable to meeting them where they are
In this Role, you'll...
Own a product or feature holistically, including any internal tooling needed to support it.
Relentlessly gather feedback (by talking to users and looking at data) to deeply understand the problem space and our users' needs.
Work from first principles to understand the user's biggest problems and then figure out how the product should work to solve those problems.
Prioritize the biggest problems blocking the product's growth and impact.
Directly manage a small product team to get the improvements into users' hands in rapid iteration cycles, gather more feedback and reach more people.
Key Details
This is a fully remote role. Candidates must be based in one of our talent hub countries (UK, Spain, USA, Canada, Kenya and Ghana) or in one of our operating markets in Africa including Senegal, Côte d'Ivoire, or Burkina Faso
Wave provides a yearly $1,200 stipend to support coworking meetups with teammates.
Remote team members are expected to travel to our operational markets (e.g. Senegal or Côte d'Ivoire) at least once per quarter. Exceptions apply, but we've found this key to understanding our users and product.
Our salaries are competitive and are calculated using a transparent formula. For this role, depending on your level and location, we offer a salary between $142,200 - $213,400 USD, plus a generous equity package.

In this role you'll;
Work closely with product managers, user researchers, engineers, and data analysts from the start to end of a feature.
Create high quality designs, interactions, and prototypes to explore ideas in service of the best solution for the project (Wave uses Figma).
Craft user research plans and work directly with our product operations analysts/user researchers to identify problems and validate solutions in user testing.
Contribute to Wave's design system and component library.
Talk to customers and find solutions to their problems by thinking critically from their perspective.
Communicate the reasoning behind your product decisions in review sessions.
Prototype visual and UX concepts and iterate towards the right solution.
Key details
This is a fully remote role. Candidates must be based in one of our hiring hubs (US, UK, Spain, Kenya, Ghana, Canada) or in one of our operating markets in Africa, including Senegal, Côte d'Ivoire, and Burkina Faso.
You'll travel to one of our key markets for a 1 week immersion trip with your immediate team (Wave covers all costs). Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Daily Management: Assist in the daily management of site requests and vendor communications.
Expense Reporting: Create and submit monthly expense reports for leadership.

Meeting Minutes: Take site meeting minutes and report action items for site administrative needs.

Office Supplies: Order and maintain office supplies and ensure appropriate inventory levels.

Facilities Support: Support facility management with facilities issues and new hire needs.
Office Equipment: Operate a variety of office equipment such as copy machines, collators, computers, postage sorter, and postage machine.
Technology Management: Learn how to run and operate the room-ready technology in main conference rooms.
Event Coordination: Assist with the coordination of office events, on-site meetings, and the ordering and facilitation of catered lunches.
Documentation Management: Manage and maintain Site Directory, Seating Charts, Inventory Logs, and Facilities Documentation.
Quality System Processes: Execute applicable Quality System processes and monitor the accuracy of service provided.
Vendor Oversight: Directly oversee janitorial and pest control vendors and their day-to-day activities and assessments.
Experience and Qualifications
2-4 years of experience in an Administrative Assistant role required.
Bi-Lingual Preferred.
High School Diploma required.
Proficient in MS Office Suite, including PowerPoint (at least proficient) and Excel (intermediate, with knowledge of pivots).

As Chief of Staff to our CEO, you will:
Own and execute on cross-functional high-impact projects that don't have a natural owner - these may span business development, public policy, people, or operations.
Support key people and culture projects as a champion of Wave's culture and values - this could be designing hiring processes, participating in interviews, identifying gaps across the company and developing playbooks that ensure as Wave scales, all employees deeply understand and live the Wave values.

About Us The Wave of North Florida is a licensed Substance Use Disorder treatment facility delivering evidence-based services across residential, PHP, and IOP levels of care. We are rapidly growing and seeking an experienced Substance Abuse Counselor who can integrate quickly into our fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
Position Overview
We are urgently hiring a Substance Abuse Counselor to provide direct clinical services including therapy, group facilitation, treatment planning, documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The ideal candidate has hands-on SUD treatment experience and can immediately contribute to client care without extensive onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate individual and group therapy for SUD and co-occurring disorders
Complete biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes within required timeframes
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in our EMR (ALLEVA)
Collaborate with medical, admissions, nursing, and operations teams
Participate in treatment team meetings, case consultations, and discharge planning
Provide crisis intervention and support when needed
Uphold state regulatory standards, client confidentiality, and professional ethics
Support quality clinical programming aligned with ASAM criteria
Required Qualifications
Minimum of one (1) year experience in Substance Use Disorder treatment
Experience with individual and group counseling in a residential or outpatient setting
Strong documentation skills and ability to learn technology quickly
Knowledge of ASAM, treatment planning, evidence-based SUD modalities, and crisis response
Must be comfortable with digital workflows, EMR systems, and rapid onboarding
Preferred Licensure/Certification (Florida)
Candidates may hold one of the following (or be actively in the process):
CAP, MCAP, CAC, CCJAP, or related FL credential
Registered interns (e.g., RMHC, RCSWI) with active supervision are welcomed if experienced in SUD treatment
Masters degree strongly preferred, but experienced certified counselors will be considered
