A Solder Technician is responsible for using hand soldering tools to weld or join metal components or to fill holes, indentations, or seams. They assemble or modify electrical or electronic equipment and take part in other production operations as needed. Responsibilities Include: Reading and understanding customer notes, drawings, bills of material and CO-AX processes. Using precision measuring tools or equipment (ie. voltmeter, ammeter, ohmmeter, or calipers). Reading and understanding values of components. Marking and tagging components so that stock inventory can be tracked and identified. Counting finished product. Maintaining production or work records.
