CL-19 Attendance * This person assists the Assistant Principal with maintaining all records related to students' attendance and other clerical matters related to the organization. Role and Responsibilities:
* Shall telephone parents to determine reason for student absence, provide notice of suspension, and/or provide notice of reinstatement etc.
* Shall track students by running weekly excessive absence reports and telephone parents when a student is absent for those extended days.
* Shall maintain updated awareness of the school district's administrative procedures, organization, policies, regulations, etc. in regard to attendance and athletic programs.
* Available for attendance/organization clerical work at meetings as requested by the high school administration, including meetings outside the normal school hours of operation.
* Shall perform office duties including filing, operating office machines, answering phones, receiving guests, etc.
* Shall maintain all school records in regards to attendance.
* Shall compile daily absence information and distribute as appropriate.
* Shall issue all tardy excuses, sign out forms, and verify early pupil departure.
* Shall modify student attendance for types of absences.
* Shall prepare reports as required
* Other duties as assigned by Principal/Assistant Principal
Qualifications and Education Requirements
* Associates degree and/or equivalent experience in secretarial, office management and/or executive level office preferred.
* Successful completion of district approved clerical assessment required.
* Must be proficient in Google Forms, Google Drive, Google Docs, G-Mail and Google Classroom, Sheets
* Must be proficient in Excel and Word.
* Must be able to become proficient in SMART budgeting program.
* Must be able to become proficient in MiSTAR student information system.
Working Schedule and Rate of Pay
8 hours per day, 42 weeks per year
Pay rate as listed in collective bargaining agreement

* Attend additional meetings when specifically requested by the athletic director and/or principal.
* Bring recommendation for volunteers and assistants to the principal and Board of Education for approval.
* Work collaboratively with other coaches to provide student with opportunities for physical conditioning
* Outside of the season, including summer conditioning and workouts.
* Work collaboratively with administration to support the program while at the same time controlling district expenses
* Is responsible for student supervision and safety before and after all activities and events both home and away.
* Maintains consistent communication with Athletic Director
* Develop positive self-image with athletics
