The Registered Nurse (RN) in Home Health provides and directs provisions of nursing care to patients in their homes as prescribed by the physician and in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and agency policies. Also, The RN Registered Nurse job coordinates total plan of care with other health care professionals involved in care and helps to achieve and maintain continuity of patient care by planning and exchanging information with physician, agency personnel, patient, family, and community resources. All done within a Point of Care setting.
Provides clinical services within the scope of practice, as defined by the state laws governing the practice of nursing, in accordance with the plan of care, and in coordination with other members of the health care team.
Makes the initial and/or comprehensive nursing evaluation visit, determines primary focus of care, develops the plan of care within State specific guidelines, and submits accurate, complete, and timely documentation, per policy.
Regularly evaluates and re-evaluates (as warranted by changes in condition but at least every 60 days) the patient's nursing needs.
Performs patient comprehensive assessments at designated time points and develops the appropriate POC, in collaboration with physician orders.
Ensures patients meet home health eligibility and medical necessity guidelines as defined by payer source.
Initiates, develops, implements, and makes necessary revisions to the plan of care in collaboration with the physician and other health care professionals involved in care.

Working under the immediate supervision of a registered professional engineer, you work as a team member alongside site managers, general contractors, and engineers to perform the required inspection or sampling services at various environmentally regulated solid waste landfill construction projects. You monitor general contractor activities, onsite testing, and reporting of earthwork and soil construction as well as geosynthetic baseliner, closure cap, piping, and gas extraction systems. This would include both PVC and DIP pipe tapping and drilling and sizes up to two inches in diameter.
• Performs pipe repairs and replacements.

This would include the installation and use of hydraulic shoring.
• Loads, unloads, identifies and distributes utility materials to the appropriate location, according to project plans and specifications.

Job Description
BURKE COUNTY SCHOOL BUS MONITOR RESPONSIBILITIES
One of the most important skills of the bus monitor is communication. His/her skills should include verbal expression as well as other forms of communications, such as written word, body language, or facial expressions to the students,
bus drivers, parents, and school or transportation staff. Yearly evaluations will be measured by adherence to the
responsibilities listed below.
Bus monitor shall:
1. Have punctual attendance. The driver cannot wait for the monitor on the school bus.
2. The bus monitor shall be on the bus from the time the first student is picked up in the morning and in the
afternoon until the last student is dropped off.
3. There shall be a designated location on the school bus, preferably in the back, for the monitor to sit so all
children can be monitored and given maximum supervision, and to do periodic walk-throughs and checks.
4. The monitor shall be alert at all times to the needs of the students and to interact when necessary. The
monitor is prohibited from sleeping, or using electronic devices for personal use, while performing
work duties when students are present on the bus.
5. Special needs bus monitors will be trained in the use of the lift and tie down systems for students in
wheelchairs and mobility devices. When the bus driver and bus monitor loads a student the other should
always double-check all straps, belts, harnesses, and wheelchair tie downs.
6. Monitors must become familiar with the emergency evacuation plan and be prepared to evacuate the
bus in the event of an emergency.
7. If the bus driver and bus monitor are transporting the medically fragile student, each should be trained either
by a physician of the student or the local system nurse or designee.
8. The monitor should be knowledgeable of the route. Monitors must keep a copy of the route and student
emergency information with phone numbers of the parents or guardians.
9. The bus monitor must respect the confidentiality of students. Any information that is acquired in the
course of job responsibilities related to the children or to an incident on the bus should be kept confidential; it
should not be discussed with co-workers who do not have a need to know.
10. While the driver is responsible for fueling and ensuring the bus is in for service and maintaining all the
mechanics of the bus, the bus monitor is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the inside of the
school bus. Monitors and drivers must work as a team to maintain cleanliness.
11. Special needs monitors are responsible for insuring all equipment that is not being used is placed in a proper
storage area.
12. A good working relationship between driver and monitor is based on respect for each other and for the
students.
13. Monitors are required to promptly report discipline issues to the driver and or the District discipline officer,
via written referral. Disciple referral forms must be accurate and legible, with timestamps documenting the
time of the discipline infraction. Discipline infractions must be handled promptly, not days after the incident.
14. Monitors are required to report incidents that result in injury of a student. An incident report must be
completed and submitted to dispatch for legal and medical purposes.
15. Elementary bus monitors are required to exit the bus with students for the following:
a. Anytime students must cross the road to load or unload at their designated stop.
b. Anytime a group of two or more students load or unload, door side and crossing the road.
c. Monitors must comply with the driver's hand signal with students when loading & unloading.
d. Safety vests must be worn at all times while on the bus.
