As a Christian university, Waynesburg University has a strong history of community service. The Center for Service Leadership helps to organize diverse service opportunities, from local work in Pennsylvania to mission trips to South America. The school also offers community service work-study as well as the Bonner Scholar Program, which awards up to $4,000 to 60 students who show a passion and commitment for community service.
