The Superintendent is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising the electrical activities and field labor of a specific project or multiple projects. Responsible for labor productivity and associated labor costs of a specific project, and to provide technical and administrative direction to ensure jobsite objectives are met. Responsibilities
Manage and oversee all aspects of labor productivity, including the development of task codes, methods of budgeting the codes and quantity tracking and reporting.

Oversee and supervise Foremen and Senior Electricians to plan and coordinate work activities.
Participate in BIM and Clash Detection Meetings. Provide necessary oversight, layout, documentation, and support to the BIM team throughout the project.
Participate and assist in creating VDC drawings/prefab review meetings.
Responsible to review and approve drawings for accuracy and determine prefab opportunities.
Oversee and enforce processes, best practices, quality control, and safety standards implementation into project.
Review, analyze and understand technical plans, blueprints, submittals, and all specifications related to the project.
Perform job walks daily and look for any deficiencies, constraints, and/or problems encountered that can affect our
production goals and schedule. Document appropriately in a Daily Report or other internal communication
Identify the strengths and weaknesses of all your staff and recommend training opportunities to the Field Operations Manager.

• Physically install, program, configure, and troubleshoot fire alarm and other Life Safety systems, including alarm and detection, notification, sprinkler monitoring, and interfaces and controls for agent releasing suppression systems.
• Delegate tasks and oversee the work of others, survey work sites to determine the best installation practices, and provide on the job training to other technicians as needed.
• Complete new installations while ensuring the systems are functioning properly and satisfy local codes.
• Travel to client sites to perform the system installation, confirm the system is operating effectively and meets contract requirements.
• Responsible for the wiring and connectivity of control panels, devices, application requirements, and security software installation.
• Keep thorough documentation during installations to assist with as-built drawings upon project completion.
• Adhere to safety protocols and complete appropriate documentation.
• Meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment with minimum direction.
• Good communication skills for effective interaction with internal & external customers
• Manage several medium to large jobs simultaneously and doing so within approved hours and margin tolerances

QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED:
• Experience with any or all the following preferred: AMAG Symmetry, Lenel, Brivo, Kantech, Verint, Exacq, Axis, Bosch, Wisenet, Verkada, DMP, Notifier, Honeywell, or Siemens.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude, ability to be on-call or work nights, must be detail-oriented and organized with strong communication skills.
• 5-7 years of experience as a technician within electronic security, fire alarm or related field
• Certified Alarm Technician (CAT) Level I and Certified Alarm Technician (CFAT) Level II Fire strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in construction related and MS Office software including but not limited to Autodesk, Rhumbix, Bluebeam PDF, MS Outlook, MS Excel, and MS Word.
• Read and interpret electronic security and fire alarm system layouts from blueprints.
• Working knowledge of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and the National Electric Code (NEC) codes and standards.
• Ability to create a team atmosphere, resolve conflicts, and keep moving toward the end goal.

The Service Electrician at the WB Moore Company must be a customer-oriented individual, with the ability to perform a variety of support activities in the service function. They will assess and respond to situations using standard procedures and report design, reliability and maintenance problems to the Project Management team.

8-10 years of ELECTRICAL experience

OSHA 30
NFPA70E/Arc Flash Training
Certified and comfortable using lift equipment
