The year was 1971 when Rolling Meadows was established by a group of concerned parents and individuals for the care and services of the Mentally Retarded.
Incorporated in 1971 as a not for profit 501(c) (3) organization, the agency maintains a diversified Board of Directors.
In 1979 the Washington County Developmental Center, Inc. moved to its present location.
In 1981, WCDC was reincorporated as a Local Development Corporation.
Wilkinsburg Community Development Corporation (WCDC) was founded in 2007 by residents and volunteers.
In 2016- WE talked about the three F’s- Finances, Family, and Future.
In 2017- WE talked about some of the positives for the year.
In 2018- WE talked about the 10 positives of the year which included a successful CARF and HCBS Review.
In 2019- WE talked about a quote that Bill Belichick, the coach of the New England Patriots, hangs above his door.
In 2020- WE talked about being Thankful.
