IDA web administrator job description

Under minimal supervision this position is responsible for the content management of IDA's external, internal corporate, and project sites administered by Corporate Communications (CC). This includes creating and maintaining content and media, design and task sites by developing and or implementing methods for continuous website revisions. This position will ensure proper functionality of sites, and problem-solving as needed, working with SDI staff when necessary.
Responsibilities

* Create and deliver day-to-day web content, edits, and page layout changes that achieve corporate objectives and adhere to corporate brand guidelines.
* Support an experienced web development team in developing new, and maintaining existing, websites by designing or adding functionality such as menus, web forms and contributing to web-based content.
* Optimize web content for SEO, keywords, image presentation, download speed, page structure, mobile devices, user experience, and more
* Create individual components for websites which may include specialized scripting in CSS and HTML.
* Work in a fast-paced team environment to support and meet the needs of multiple clients and projects.
* Consult with IDA staff members in designing, updating and maintaining material for corporate and task websites. Follow established IDA security regulations and procedures.
* Work with other CC personnel as needed for graphics and other materials appropriate for use on websites, performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Web Development or Web Design with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. This includes website development, operations, maintenance, content management, trouble shooting, and/or reporting.
* Fundamental awareness of website content management systems, web publishing, web security and current and emerging industry trends.
* Ability to organize and provide content creation and migration to redesigned sites will be essential.
* Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow through required.
* Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees.

As part of the Division of External Affairs, with limited supervision, the Web Content Administrator oversees all website content and website-related projects for Rady Children's Hospital's public website. Deploys content to website in alignment with organizational communications strategies set by senior mgmt. Responsible for driving effectiveness of website marketing and conversion on public-facing websites for both patients and providers. Compiles, writes, edits, proofreads all content in consultation with dept directors, physicians, program managers, other stakeholders, and as needed, the Marketing Communications Dept. Evaluates type and quality of content to be posted and ensures content adheres to writing style guide and serves the needs of the target audience. Uses website content management software program WordPress, or other programs as applicable, to post content. We are seeking a **Journeyman WEB Administrator** to support Project Manager, Positioning Navigation and Timing (PM PNT) Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) Support Services by providing administrative, business management, programmatic, contracting, information technology (IT), program management, engineering, logistics, test and evaluation (T&E), training, operations, security, technology protection, foreign military sales, and acquisition and strategic planning services.
**Roles/Responsibilities:**

Responsible for performing the following:

+ Provide webmaster services for the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the PM PNT and Open Innovation Lab (OIL) website.

+ Serve as the web administrator for the PM PNT website, OIL website, and SharePoint sites.

+ Maintain content, make recommendations, and improve the Army PNT website as approved by PM PNT leadership.

+ Participate in communities of practice concerning knowledge management requirements, as required, and communicate pertinent updates and changes to PM PNT leadership with recommended courses of action.

+ Complete and maintain all necessary certification and training requirements for all knowledge management tools.

+ Identify issues affecting the knowledge management environment and associated tools; notify PM PNT Operations and leadership staff; and recommend courses of action to mitigate or eliminate the issues.

**Requirements** :

+ A bachelor's degree in applicable field with a minimum 7 years of specialized experience or a master's degree in applicable field with a minimum 5 years of specialized experience.

+ Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite of products.

+ Capable is supporting the Government in developing and maintaining a PM PNT Knowledge Management Strategy and submit to PM PNT leadership for approval.

+ Must be capable of maintaining PM PNT knowledge sharing and account management utilizing Governments provided tools (i.e. SharePoint, JIRA, Confluence, Army 365) and provide subject matter expertise, training, and help desk support.

+ Current Secret Clearance.
