Starting UX Web Design Intern Salary: $20.00 hour

As a UX Web Designer Intern , you will work on a team that is responsible for UI/UX research, design, and development, contributing to and maintaining our Style Guide, and working with web developers to build mobile-first data-driven web pages and applications.

This opportunity is a summer internship, in-office position, located in Columbia, MO.

To qualify for an internship with MidwayUSA , applicants must meet the following criteria:

1. The intern should be within 12-18 months of completing all requirements for graduation from an accredited program.
2. Able to work approximately 16 hours per week/2 hour block minimum at a time, during the school year and full-time when school is not in session.
3. Minimum of 3.0 GPA
4. Enrolled in a qualified higher education program in a field related to the internship opportunity

**Summary of Internship**

Build Low-Code Web/Mobile application.

**Crucial Functions:**

+ Effective project management adhering to established timelines.

+ Maintain and provide reporting support for the system and users.

+ Develop automated data loads and schedules to ensure timeliness of information.

+ Perform ad hoc analysis and compile data for various performance metrics.

+ Maintain and supervise data accuracy.

+ Establish measurements and targets based on historic and forecasted data.

+ Support the execution and data integrity of strategic projects.

**Qualifications:**

+ Student currently enrolled in classes leading to an accredited Master's degree in a related engineering, science, life science or other applicable field

+ **Preferred majors** : Information Systems, Information Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science or other related major

+ **Preferred Skills:** Net , C/C++ ,C# ,Java, JavaScript , Low-Code Platforms (Outsytems, Mendix, Appian), Cloud Platform (AWS, Google, Azure)

+ Strong desire and motivation to develop a career in IT

+ Strong leadership and team building skills

+ Ability to work independently and as a member of a cross-functional team

+ Ability to learn, be mentored, and improve

+ Desire to teach other engineers about technology in area of expertise

+ Previous industrial experience is preferred

+ Aptitude for working with hands and having experience using hand-tools may be beneficial

+ Accuracy and attention to detail is required in performing all functions of this position.

+ Excellent written and oral communications skills are required.

+ To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States, and should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status
