The Graphic Designer is a confident, self-motivated teammate who is eager to learn and won't hesitate to work alongside--and at times lead--team members on projects and tasks of all levels. They will be responsible for the day-to-day process associated with creating and reviewing collateral, ensuring deadlines are met, obtaining approvals on all creative assets, ensuring that assets are delivered or approved on time, and communicating updates to stakeholders.
The Graphic Designer reports directly to the Design Manager.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
+ Ensure marketing materials comply with brand guidelines and accessibility standards.
+ Design creative marketing materials and visual concepts using graphic design tools.
+ Develop the visual layout and design of presentations, including slide structure, typography, color palettes, and imagery following specified brand guidelines.

+ Perform other related duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in graphic design, fine art, marketing or another relevant field
+ At least five years of experience graphic design in corporate marketing, inhouse agency, or studio at a professional level
+ Strong understanding of design principles, visual hierarchy, and typography

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay range for this position is $30 to $36 per hour. Compensation depends on several factors including: experience, education, key skills, geographic location of the position, client requirements, external market competitiveness, and internal equity among other employees within APTIM.

Job Description
Title: Designer (Piping)
Position Overview: We are seeking a Piping Designer to develop detailed drawings based on applicable specifications and work order instructions. The role ensures that the design product and engineering deliverables conform to engineering design and customer specifications. Responsibilities include preparing Bills of Material (BOM), consulting with vendors on project-related activities, and coordinating design criteria with engineering, manufacturing, tooling, material, and planning groups.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop detailed piping drawings based on specifications and work order instructions.
Ensure design products and engineering deliverables conform to engineering design and customer specifications.
Prepare Bills of Material (BOM).
Consult with vendors on project-related activities.
Coordinate design criteria with engineering, manufacturing, tooling, material, and planning groups, considering ease of manufacture, material availability, and contractual specifications.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of piping design experience within the shipbuilding industry.
Proficiency in using AutoCAD and 3D modeling software, such as Ship Constructor, Nupas Cadmatic, Inventor, and CATIA.
Strong understanding of piping design principles in the shipbuilding industry.
Ability to prepare accurate and detailed Bills of Material (BOM).
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Skills and Abilities:
Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D modeling using Ship Constructor, Nupas Cadmatic, Inventor, and CATIA software.
Strong understanding of piping design principles in the shipbuilding industry.
Ability to prepare accurate and detailed Bills of Material (BOM).
