Melvin Mark is seeking a creative and detail-oriented graphic designer/content creator who is based in the Portland Metro area and interested in working on a part-time/as-needed basis. Working primarily with the Brand Manager and Marketing team, this individual will produce and maintain compelling visual assets that are used across a variety of platforms and are cohesive with Melvin Mark Company's brand guidelines and evolving needs.
Many of the visual assets include graphics for advertising, proposals, flyers, forms, social media, presentations, internal and external signage, and any other company-wide needs. In addition to visual design, this individual will coordinate with the Brand Manager to discuss marketing goals, social media strategies, and advertising strategies.
Responsibilities
Graphic Design:
Produce creative marketing materials and templates with receptivity to design direction, broker feedback and industry examples
Maintain a quick turnaround for time-sensitive graphics such as Brokerage team leasing flyers
Create print, digital, and/or signage graphics as requested by the Brokerage team and/or Operations team
Content Creation:
Collaborate with the Brand Manager to formulate and maintain a consistent social media strategy and create corresponding visuals as needed
Collaborate with the Brand Manager to create external marketing, email marketing, social media, and advertising strategies
Branding & Identity:
Maintain a consistent brand identity across all content and marketing channels
Using brand guidelines, create relevant advertisements for MMC's sponsors and partners, using print & production experience
Other:
Maintain the current file management system for frequently updated flyers, keeping them organized and accessible in OneDrive & SharePoint
Competencies

As a footwear designer in WOMEN'S TRAINING, you will be working hand-in-hand with a large project team of different professionals (engineers, researchers, scientists, marketing, testing, sustainability, materials, costing, etc.) and collaborating within the design community (product designers, materials, color, graphics, computational, etc.). You will work under the direction of our Senior Design Director, as well as other functional leaders, to ensure alignment across all sectors.
