Job Position Description:
This position is responsible for creating cleaner and healthier environments for our customer's buildings and grounds by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities. Other duties may be Assigned:
Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided ServiceMaster products, tools and procedures
Cleaning duties include: sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash, windows and cleaning and moving furniture and equipment etc..

DEFINITIONEmpty heading The Facilities Maintenance Custodian performs general labor, cleaning, and inspections required for the maintenance and upkeep of NCTD facilities. This is a bargained position represented by the International Association of Sheet Metal, Air, Rail, and Transportation workers (SMART) Union.
In accordance with the collective bargaining agreement, the salary for this position is $20.69 per hour. This will increase to $21.31 per hour on July 1, 2026.
Distinguishing Characteristics
Able to perform routine custodial maintenance, cleaning, and grounds keeping in the Maintenance of Facilities Department, to include having the skill and ability to operate the tools and equipment associated with these functions. May work independently or as a part of a team in assigned work areas.
Supervision Received and Exercised
The Facilities Maintenance Custodian works under the immediate supervision of the COASTER/SPRINTER Managers and/or Shift Supervisors. They have no direct supervisory responsibility. Further, this position is expected to participate in the sharing of expert knowledge and as a vital member of various project teams that may be instituted.
Working Conditions
This position is required to work in all types of settings, including outdoors. The classification also works with various machinery and chemicals. Individuals in this position must be able to work safely to prevent on-the-job accidents and injuries, wear protective equipment including hearing protection, safety-toe boots, safety glasses and other Personal Protective Equipment items as assigned by NCTD. Business travel may be required periodically between District sites, governmental agencies, consultants' facilities, and other locations as required.

* Performs cleaning activities to buildings, sites, equipment, and assists Facilities Maintenance Technicians.

Our client is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Part-Time Housekeeper to support the upkeep of a beautifully maintained 5,000 sq. ft. private residence. The home is occupied by one principal and a dog. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining an exceptionally clean, calm, and well-organized environment, with a strong emphasis on laundry care and attention to detail.

Experienced private housekeeper with excellent laundry skills
Extremely detail-oriented, organized, and methodical
Knowledgeable in proper cleaning products and techniques for fine surfaces and furnishings
Discreet, respectful, and mindful of privacy
Reliable, punctual, and self-directed
Calm demeanor with a strong work ethic
Comfortable working independently
Pet-friendly and comfortable around dogs
Able to legally work in the United States
Verifiable references preferred
Key Responsibilities
Full housekeeping of the residence with a high standard of cleanliness
Expert laundry care including washing, drying, steaming, and ironing
Proper care of fine fabrics and garments
Closet organization and garment maintenance
Detailed cleaning of kitchens, bathrooms, living spaces, and common areas
Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface care
Maintaining household organization and visual order
Monitoring household supplies
Light pet-related tidying as needed
Proactively identifying areas needing attention
Keeping the home guest-ready at all times

High School Diploma or GED preferred
