Qualifications
Bachelors' Degree required
Minimum of 3 years of experience with a combination of digital, agency and healthcare experience. Minimum of 3 years of experience which can be a combination of account management and/or project management
Ability to efficiently coordinate and work on multiple tasks simultaneously in a highly deadline-driven environment
Excellent time management, organizational skills and the ability to prioritize in order to meet deadlines
Work in a cohesive team environment as well as independently
Self-motivated, positive attitude, with a willingness to accept varied assignments

**REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**
An advanced Degree is required (Ph.D, MBA, M.S or equivalent). We are looking for a business development leader with significant experience bringing new compounds to companies. A minimum of 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Ability to take personal accountability at the project decision/execution-level is required. Previous Business Development and licensing experience is mandatory. Knowledge of the Oncology space is a plus.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $271,150 to $366,850.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $271,150 to $366,850.

About the Role The Vice President Business Development Oncology Transactions will lead Business Development activities for the Oncology franchise, J&J Innovative Medicine's largest and fastest growing therapeutic area. Oversees the closing of deals and integration of assets into J&J. Also oversees divestitures of identified assets to enhance value creation of the portfolio. Can be engaged in renegotiation of existing agreements according to changing business needs. Helps to develop high external share of voice in the Oncology marketplace, furthering J&J Innovative Medicine's reputation as a partner of choice. Develops and leads a consistently high performing team Oncology BD team.
Partners with Therapeutic Area Leadership and Global Commercial (GCSO) teams to develop actionable growth plans based on gap analyses, competitive landscape reviews, and a continuous review of all mechanisms of action that are viewed as critical for growth.

**Key Responsibilities (included but are not limited to):**
+ **Demand Generation:**
+ Demand generation is the primary responsibility of this role by engaging with healthcare providers (including internal treating physicians, internal referring physicians, and key community physicians) on the benefits of Kite CAR T as a treatment path versus other treatment options for appropriate patients.
+ Drive day to day demand generation activities including providing consistent coverage, meeting frequency target, and achieving overall sales goals.
+ Responsible for identifying and mapping out patient referral pathways within the hematology networks in the assigned territory and facilitating patient access to treatment within the ATC and/or referral network.
+ Articulate target patient profile and provide product education to drive demand for Kite CAR T therapies to physicians within the ATC and surrounding network(s). Differentiate Yescarta/Tecartus versus alternative options through approved messaging.
+ Develop, maintain, and monitor sales progress and action plans by leveraging available tools, as well as making adjustments as needed, to achieve sales targets and related KPIs in assigned territory.
+ Educate and ensure ATC comfort with CAR T process to avoid barriers in utilization.
+ Provide clinical instruction to clinical staff (e.g., AE Management Guide, Product Insert [PI]).
+ Help Key Account Director educate customers at treatment center on CAR T access / reimbursement protocols across insurance types as needed.
+ Record field activities in CRM.
+ Support promotional activities such as peer-to-peer speaker programs, represent company and brand at professional scientific events, and promote company products as well as invite customers to speaker programs, peer-to-peer discussions, and other relevant unbranded and branded events.
+ **Account Engagement:**
+ Ability to navigate a complex account environment and understand the needs/issues of various stakeholders at all levels within the account.
+ Build and develop professional relationships within targeted academic hospitals to ensure the successful introduction and use of Kite products.
+ Collaborate and help prioritize Key Account Director efforts supporting ATC demand enablement. + Manage ongoing compliance-related activities at the ATC (e.g., REMS Program, periodic audits) once the ATC is operational and work with the ATC Onboarding Director for site authorization.
+ **Patient access and reimbursement support**
+ Identify and map patient referral pathways within the hematology networks in your territory and facilitate patient access to treatment.
+ Provide support as needed to the Kite Konnect Case Managers who will lead individual patient case management and process support. **Examples include:**
+ Educate on patient registration process (Kite Konnect) and any other administrative steps required for registration.
+ Build awareness of patient and caregiver travel and lodging support.
+ Support office staff with specific reimbursement patient case resolution.
+ **CAR-T Process Support**
+ Maintain visibility over the entirety of the patient journey.
+ Manage incoming patient to ATC to ensure treatment team is prepped.
+ In collaboration with HQ and Medical teams ensure successful coordination of cell journey and patient access, utilizing patient health information (PHI) when needed.
+ Work with Kite Konnect Case Manager and Medical to communicate with appropriate parties when and if any disruption in a patient-specific cell therapy journey occurs.
+ Manage and address cancelations as needed, especially those occurring pre-apheresis.
+ **Other Responsibilities:**
+ Advise ATC Onboarding Director when onboarding new ATC sites, assist in authorizing new FACT and non-FACT treatment centers as needed.
+ Support customer awareness of the CAR T Process, available patient support, and the ATC Expansion, and 3rd Party Payor Access as needed.
+ In coordination with Case Manager, work with treatment physicians, administrative staff, and other staff. Coordinate with ATC staff as patient goes through collection, reprogramming, and infusion phases.
**Basic Qualifications**
+ Master's degree and 4 years of experience OR

Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years' sales experience in Nephrology therapeutic area.
Buy and bill experience and success strongly preferred.
Biologic/biotech sales and reimbursement experience strongly preferred.
Nephrology therapeutic area experience strongly preferred.
Experience working with institutions and integrated delivery networks preferred.
Experience working in a team environment which successfully partners with all Commercial Operations functions.

We are growing both our focus and device line-up to support Cardiac Surgeons and Heart Failure Cardiologists across the US. With our continued success, we are looking to expand our commercial team. You will work closely with our cardiology sales and clinical team who will be responsible for driving growth across the designated territory. Through our Impella product portfolio you will enable physicians and staff to recover hearts and save patients' lives.
Job Responsibilities:
Gain distribution and utilization of the Impella 5.5 (left sided treatment)
Gain distribution and utilization of the Impella RP (right sided treatment)
Work collaboratively within the area to achieve quarter over quarter growth
Drive excitement and vision of heart recovery solutions with existing devices and future technologies
Call point(s): Cardiac Surgeons, Heart Failure Cardiologists, “Heart Team” (to include Interventional Cardiologists, Intensivists, & Perfusionists)
Build surgical vertical in established Impella programs - Full product portfolio
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required
A minimum of 10+ years experience of cardiac surgery and/ or combined cardiology medical device sales required for the Surgical Account Manager level
OR
A minimum of 5+ years experience of cardiac surgery and/ or combined cardiology medical device clinical or sales required for the Associate Account Manager level
Proven track record of selling in an operating room is required
A proven track record in leading and motivating teams to successfully achieve quotas required
Strong knowledge of cardiac surgery and structural heart anatomy required
Established relationships/network of Cardiac Surgeons across the region
Proven track record of technology adoption and market development
Direct patient support experience required
Ability to drive patient outcomes required
Ability to travel 50%-75% overnight required
Conduct duties and responsibilities in accordance with all state and federal laws and regulations governing the medical device industry required
The Company maintains a highly competitive sales incentive compensation program. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for participation in this program in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.
