Weee! is looking for a Director, People Partner of Site Operations who will be a strong contributor to driving high value human resource service and support to our Fulfillment Centers and Logistics teams across the US. The role focuses on the 4 C's - Capability, Change, Communication and Compliance.
This role is both strategic and operational and will play a crucial role in shaping the overall Team Member experience as well as being responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our business goals and support our team members growth and development. The person in this role will need to be innovative, agile, resilient, highly collaborative and a trusted advisor.
To be successful, the individual will need to collaborate extensively with the Regional and Site Operations Teams, Corporate Teams and the Central People Team, as well as leading the HR leaders on site across multiple geographies in the US.
Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership - Develops and executes People strategies and plans which support and enable the business objectives. Partners with local and regional senior leaders to ensure alignment, buy-in and support.
Culture and Engagement - Acts as the champion to "Build a Great Place to Work" which promotes a diverse and inclusive team and a high performance culture. Develops engagement plans and activities to build emotional engagement and provide recognition and celebration.
Team Member Experience - Delivers the end to end team member experience in Fulfillment Centers and Logistics, working in conjunction with the Central People Team and other organizational depts to ensure high levels of engagement as well as efficiency and continuous improvement that drives business results.
Talent Acquisition - Works with the Talent Acquisition team to lead the recruitment efforts for Fulfillment Center and Logistics roles, ensuring a diverse and skilled workforce that meets our needs both now and in the future
Talent Management - Leads and embeds innovative talent management practices into the business strategy, including effective performance management, talent review and succession planning, which creates high performing, high potential talent.
Learning and Development - Collaborates with the central L&D team and operations leaders to design and deliver training programs that enhance employees skills and business performance.
Compliance and Policies - Partner with legal team and employee relations to ensure compliance with all Labor laws, company policies, people data and safety regulations across all Fulfillment Centers and Logistics operations.
Employee Relations - Work with our Employee Relations, Sr. Manager to oversee employee relations activities including conflict resolution, performance management and any remedial actions necessary.
Compensation - Work with our Director of Global Compensation to roll out and manage compensation programs including job leveling, pay structure, incentive programs, including manager enablement and communications.
People Analytics - Utilizes People data and analytics to track key performance metrics, identify trends and makes data driven decisions to improve people and business outcomes
Change Management - Partners with leaders to lead, implement and embed change initiatives through effective change management and communication practices.
Organization Effectiveness - Ensures fit for purpose organizational structures in line with our company philosophy. Drives team effectiveness practices, including leadership coaching, team styles and decision making, and competency development to improve organizational effectiveness.
Senior Leadership - Provides executive coaching to senior leaders.
Qualifications
BS/BA in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field; MBA is preferred.
PHR, SPHR, or GPHR certification preferred.
10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role overseeing Fulfillment Centers and/or Logistics HR Operations.
Strong knowledge of HR best practices, US labor laws, and compliance requirements in the retail or eCommerce industry.
Broad HR knowledge in key domain areas such as talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management and learning and development.
Experience in Change Management preferred.
Proficiency in accessing HRIS systems, preferably Workday, for viewing and analyzing employee data.
Solid understanding of performance measurement and experience in a metrics driven environment.
Excellent interpersonal, communications, influencing and leadership skills.
Strong conflict management skills.
Demonstrated ability to balance business and employee needs
Strong problem solving, collaboration, coaching, influencing, and facilitation skills
Demonstrated ability to produce results in a high volume, dynamic, fast-paced environment and drove results through collaboration and influence

About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Supply Chain Middle Mile and Last Mile Transportation Manager to oversee the movement of goods from suppliers to distribution centers and fulfillment centers to delivery hubs and directly to customers. This role will manage the end-to-end transportation strategy, execution, cold chain carrier relationships, and operational performance across both middle mile and last mile networks. In the context of grocery e-commerce, this includes time-sensitive, temperature-controlled deliveries with a relentless focus on freshness, safety, and customer satisfaction.
You will lead a team of transportation supply chain analysts and work cross-functionally to ensure a seamless, efficient, and scalable delivery operation that meets both service-level agreements and cost targets.
Responsibilities
Overall
Manage transportation operations, including carrier relationships, route optimization, and cost control to ensure on-time deliveries and cost savings
Continuously identify areas for process improvement within the network to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs
Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization in supply chain operations
Evaluate and optimize inventory levels, distribution networks, and transportation routes to minimize costs and maximize operational efficiency
Build dashboards, self-service tools, and ad hoc reports to analyze and present data associated with business operations, and strategic decision making

Middle Mile & Linehaul Operations
Design, manage, and optimize transportation routes between fulfillment centers, distribution centers, and cross-dock facilities, ensuring capacity availability and cost-efficiency.
Oversee cold chain linehaul movements, ensuring strict adherence to temperature standards, chain of custody protocols, and product quality preservation.
Plan and execute spoke-to-hub consolidation strategies to improve trailer utilization and delivery frequency.
Manage contracts, performance, and compliance of carriers, including dedicated and spot capacity providers.
Monitor real-time movement of loads via TMS, GPS, and ELD integrations to ensure on-time performance and visibility.
Continuously analyze route density, dwell time, mileage efficiency, and linehaul cost per mile/unit to improve productivity.
Develop and implement a comprehensive network strategy that aligns with the company's growth objectives, ensuring we can meet customer demand effectively
Last Mile Operations
Build and manage last mile delivery networks, including courier services, and 3PL providers.
Drive operational excellence in final-mile grocery delivery, ensuring service-level adherence, temperature integrity, and high customer satisfaction.
Optimize routing and delivery time windows for perishable products to minimize delivery failures and reduce spoilage risk.
Partner with customer service to resolve escalations and improve delivery reliability and NPS scores.
Carrier Management
Lead carrier selection, rate negotiations, and contract execution for both middle mile (linehaul) and last mile transportation partners.
Implement a carrier diversification strategy to reduce risk, improve service flexibility, and manage capacity constraints.
Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, carriers, and other partners to ensure service levels are met
Develop and maintain strong partnerships with regional and national carriers, including those with cold chain capabilities.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives with carriers focused on performance KPIs such as on-time delivery, temperature compliance, exception resolution, and cost control.
Manage RFQ processes, benchmark market rates, and monitor fuel surcharges to ensure cost competitiveness.
Oversee freight billing, auditing, and dispute resolution to ensure accurate invoicing and eliminate overcharges or duplicate payments.
Administer carrier claims management processes, including loss, damage, and service failure claims, ensuring timely resolution and recovery.
Ensure all carrier agreements meet service level, safety, compliance, and food safety standards (e.g., FSMA, HACCP).
Team & Cross-Functional Leadership
Build and lead a team of 3-5 members of network planning and logistics professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship
Lead and mentor a team of transportation analysts, responsible for routing optimization, carrier performance tracking, service-level reporting, and operational analytics.
Act as the transportation system owner, collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and data science teams to design, build, and enhance scalable tools for real-time tracking, route planning, dispatch visibility, exception alerts, and delivery performance monitoring.
Serve as the visionary leader for future-state transportation solutions, identifying system gaps and creating roadmaps for automation, intelligent dispatching, and predictive planning tools that align with business growth and customer expectations.
Drive development and implementation of transportation technology products, including enhancements to TMS platforms, custom APIs for carrier integration, and optimization engines for cold chain and last mile routing.
Collaborate with supply planning, fulfillment operations, inventory, and customer service teams to ensure transportation strategies align with upstream and downstream operational goals.
Champion a culture of data-driven decision-making, continuous improvement, and cross-functional alignment across logistics, tech, and business teams.
Financial Management & Strategy
Own the transportation P&L, with emphasis on middle mile, linehaul, and last mile cost control, and budget forecasting.
Identify and drive strategic cost-saving opportunities in fuel efficiency, trailer turns, route balancing, and carrier sourcing.
Monitor and control operational expenses to meet budgetary goals while maintaining service quality
Assess new markets and volume growth projections to proactively scale linehaul and delivery network capacity.
Partner with cross functional teams to model different transportation cost structures and service trade-offs to support customer growth and delivery innovation.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
8+ years of progressive transportation/logistics experience, with at least 3 years in grocery e-commerce or cold chain operations.
Strong background in linehaul operations, carrier management, and cold chain logistics for perishable goods.
Demonstrated success managing temperature-controlled freight, from long-haul movements to doorstep delivery.
Proven experience leading a team of transportation analysts, with a focus on performance management and professional development.
Deep knowledge of TMS platforms, route optimization tools, and carrier visibility solutions (e.g., FourKites, Project44, Descartes).
Excellent analytical, leadership, and cross-functional communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data-driven insights to make strategic decisions
Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, and dashboarding tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

About the Role
The Director of Protein is responsible for the strategic leadership and Protein assortment of Weee!'s protein categories. About the role
We're looking for a Sr. Data Scientist with a passion for working with merchandising, pricing/promotion finance/accounting, and user behavioral data to help define strategy, guide operations, and KPIs and impact how we build experiences and products.
Responsibilities:
Build dashboards, self-service tools including LLM agents, and ad hoc reports to analyze and present data associated with customer experience, business operations, and strategic decision making
Work closely with the pricing team to test and measure different pricing/promotion strategies, identify issues, trends, user behavior changes.
Conduct end-to-end analyses, including data gathering from large and complex data sets, processing, and analysis employing advanced statistical and ML methods, with ongoing deliverables to improve user experience
Identify actionable insights, suggest recommendations, and influence the direction of the business by effectively communicating metrics and results to stakeholders.
Partner with Data Engineering to craft our data infrastructure investments in support of BI needs and ensure the proper tracking and quality of the data
Qualifications
MS in Math, Statistics, or another closely-related quantitative field
4+ years of Data Analysis experience in preferably e-commerce or customer-facing business
Expert in data analysis, visualization, and communication, with prior full-time work experience, strongly preferred
Experience creating dashboards/visualizations using, e.g., Tableau (or similar)
Expertise in SQL, and comfort with Python
Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment and deliver excellent results, requiring minimal supervision. Cross-functional and can wear different hats at the same time
Be a self-starter, detail-oriented, eager to learn, and motivated by a passion for developing the best possible solutions to problems
Strong communication skills, and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.

About the Role
The Director of Protein is responsible for the strategic leadership and Protein assortment of Weee!'s protein categories. This role will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive category strategy, optimizing assortment, driving sales and profitability, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and sustainability. The Director will report directly to the executive team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Weee!'s protein business.
Responsibilities
Understand Weee! customer needs and translate insights into a winning protein assortment and merchandising strategy.
Develop and execute a comprehensive category strategy for all protein lines, addressing vendor capacity, quality, pricing(cost), and demand planning requirements.
Mentor and develop a high-performing category management team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Set ambitious goals for category growth, sales, and margin improvement; own the category's revenue, P&L, and overall business performance.
Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, negotiating optimal pricing and continuously seeking new partnerships to expand and strengthen our protein offerings.
Lead commodity cost management initiatives, including market monitoring and financial forecasting to anticipate and respond to market changes.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Demand Planning, and Food Safety to drive company initiatives and achieve OKRs.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer data to identify gaps and opportunities for innovation and growth of the assortment.
Ensure compliance with all food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Support new product development and seasonal launches, working closely with suppliers and internal teams to deliver innovative offerings.
Provide regular market condition updates and financial forecasts to executive leadership, supporting data-driven decision-making.

About the Role
Weee! is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Solution Design Engineer with the expertise to deliver scalable warehouse layouts, evaluate automation ROI, and ensure expansion projects launch on time and on budget. You'll design cost-effective fulfillment solutions that support our rapid national expansion while balancing operational feasibility with strategic business objectives.
Responsibilities
Design and optimize warehouse layouts including racking configurations, dock planning, and workstation placement for both existing facilities and new builds to maximize space utilization and operational efficiency
Develop strategic capacity plans that forecast throughput requirements and SKU capacity needs to support long-term business growth and expansion
Create and iterate CAD layouts, throughput models, and capacity analyses to validate design feasibility and performance against current and future business requirements
Evaluate automation solutions including hardware selection, system integration, and layout design modifications to support material handling equipment, robotics, AMRs, and packaging technologies
Conduct comprehensive ROI analysis and business case development for automation and equipment investments, providing financial impact assessments to support capital planning decisions
Support strategic finance budget forecasting by providing accurate cost estimates and capacity projections for warehouse expansion and automation initiatives
Build repeatable design frameworks and standardized templates for new builds and retrofits to enable rapid, consistent deployment across multiple sites
Lead design workshops and maintain close collaboration with Operations, Process Engineering, WMS, Finance, and external vendors to align requirements and evaluate trade-offs
