This role is onsite 5 days a week in Clifton, NJ About the role As a Demand Planning Manager that supports our NJ/NY team, you'll be working closely with a variety of teams to ensure that our inventory is always stocked with the latest and greatest products. With your expertise in demand planning and inventory management, you'll be responsible for forecasting future demand for our core items, promotions, seasonal products and new arrivals. By analyzing customer demand and vendor performance, you'll provide critical insights to help us optimize our inventory, reduce waste, and increase sales. Plus, as a part of a collaborative and dynamic team, you'll work with other departments to review and refine our day to day tactics and strategies related to demand planning and inventory management. Responsibilities: Provide daily guidance and oversight to the category while working closely with cross-functional teams. Identify and analyze demand forecast risks, and develop effective mitigation plans to ensure optimal inventory levels and customer satisfaction. Stay ahead of the curve by regularly planning and updating forecasts for new products, seasonal items, discounts, promotions & new regions. Analyze and troubleshoot demand-related issues in a timely and accurate manner, and maintain demand planning processes to continuously improve forecast accuracy. Assist in developing annual budgets and cost-effectiveness initiatives, and provide routine and ad-hoc demand related reports to management. Oversee and maintain optimal inventory levels in the warehouse through effective inventory planning, working with vendors to ensure optimal delivery performance. Build constructive and effective cross-functional relationships with a broad group of business partners. Influence others by presenting ideas and directions that lead other team members to action. Manager a team of Demand Planners and support their growth. Develop demand planning processes to improve scalable forecast accuracy. Partner with product and engineering teams to build out future state demand planning systems and technology. Build out reporting to track forecast accuracy and develop KPIs to measure success. Key Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or other relevant fields. Master's degree in business, supply chain, math, engineering, other other relevant fields preferred. A minimum of 6 years of experience in a demand planning/forecasting role. Experience developing and implementing systems, tools, and technologies for demand forecasting. A minimum of 4 years of experience managing and leading a team. Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures. Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge. High proficiency with SQL and Advanced Excel. Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Automation Technician will be responsible for overseeing the daily operation and maintenance of the mechanical, electrical, computer, and robotic systems. Responsibilities Monitor and maintain compliance with federal & state OSHA, EPA, NFPA, ANSI and other federal and state entity requirements Provide relevant content and subject matter expertise to support: required safety-related training; effective implementation of safety programs; and prevention of accidents Support site safety goals through implementation of safe work practices and coaching of employees and supervisors in safe practices Work in a team environment where responsibility for injury/illness prevention, compliance assurance, safety auditing, incident investigation, and employee training are shared between the leadership team and the EHS supervisor Work with the management team and employees to instill a genuine culture of safety awareness and personal responsibility for safe behaviors and work practices Assist with employee engagement efforts, including oversight of safety committees Provide direct support to employees within the site, with the ability to perform work activities in a variety of industrial and warehouse settings/environments, requiring activities such as, but not limited to: climbing ladders and stairs, walking and standing for long periods of time, working occasionally in hot and cold environments; and wearing advanced PPE such as fall protection and respirators and added clothing Daily job includes: Enforcing safety policies; Conducting risk assessments; Training and educating employees; Inspecting, auditing, and monitoring safety practices; Investigating accidents and incidents; Maintaining safety records and documentation; Collaborating with local management; Staying updated on safety regulations and best practices Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in an environmental health and safety role Associate degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health and Safety, Industrial Safety, or related field Current OSHA 10-Hour General Industry or Construction certification Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel (data analysis, pivot tables, formulas), PowerPoint (presentations, training materials), and Word (documentation, reports) Experience and/or familiarity with related governing agency requirements (i.e., OSHA, NFPA, EPA, DOT) Demonstrated communicating, training, public speaking and problem-solving skills Experience and/or familiarity with powered industrial truck driving (i.e., Forklift, Order-picker, Reach Truck, Electric Pallet Jack) Experience supporting a Process Safety Management Program Knowledge of environmental regulations including but not limited to air, wastewater, storm water, solid and waste management Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, Industrial Hygiene, or related field Working knowledge of Anhydrous Ammonia refrigeration systems and associated safety protocols Benefits Comprehensive health insurance package, including medical, dental, and vision.
