This role requires frequent travel to projects across the NE region on US.
**Responsibilities**
- Supervise the crew(s) and craft workers in the application of all projects.
- Managing the performance of productivity, safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
- Collaborate with engineers, Job teams, etc. to determine project needs.
- Utilize equipment, material, and labor to maximize production and minimize costs in assigned responsibility.
- Set performance goals and deadlines.

**Qualifications**
+ 8+ years' experience in the construction industry, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
+ Must have experience and professional knowledge of heavy civil infrastructure, marine infrastructure is preferred.
+ Ideal candidate will have project experience with ports, docks, wharves, piers, bridges or other waterfont structures.
+ Must be able to run multiple crews across various construction scopes.
+ Knowledge of various construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, engineering drawings and other documents.
+ Demonstrated ability to efficiently supervise and evaluate craft performance.
+ General computer skills required, Microsoft Office proficiency (Word and Excel).

Opportunity Summary
The Control Room Operator is responsible for safely controlling, operating, and maintaining generation and auxiliary equipment to protect personnel and equipment, ensure high plant reliability, produce power efficiently, and support the Landfill Gas Collection System goals while remaining in full compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements.

Perform simple and combined-cycle plant startups, shutdowns, and casualty control safely and efficiently.

The plant consists of five gas turbine generators exhausting into five triple pressure Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG's). The HRSG's are connected to a common steam header which supplies steam to three steam turbines and the adjacent refinery.
Opportunity Summary
The Auxiliary Operator (AO) is pivotal in maintaining the power plant's seamless operations, overseeing tasks such as monitoring, water chemistry analysis, and contributing to start-up and shutdown procedures. Their role extends to executing routine inspections, handling hazardous materials responsibly, and ensuring the proper functioning of critical systems. With responsibilities spanning from operational tasks to environmental compliance and safety measures, the Auxiliary Operator plays a key role in the overall efficiency and reliability of the power plant.
This position is represented by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 94 and is subject to a Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Your scope of responsibility as Auxiliary Operator will include the following primary functions:
Monitor power plant operations and perform routine water chemistry analyses to ensure optimal performance.
Assist with the startup and shutdown of power plant systems to support smooth and efficient operations.
Conduct routine inspections and perform tasks in accordance with the Discharge Prevention, Containment, and Countermeasures (DPCC) Plan, ensuring safe and environmentally responsible handling of hazardous materials and waste.
Operate isolated control panels for Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSGs), turbines, and generators, including startup and shutdown procedures. Manage major auxiliary equipment, such as air compressors, boiler feedwater treatment systems, and generator cooling systems.
Perform operational tests and inspections, making minor repairs and adjustments to ensure proper equipment functionality.
Execute orders from the Control Room Operator at isolated panels for equipment clearance or preparation for service. Follow operating instructions and procedures, ensuring all actions are safely tagged, tested, and documented.
Maintain detailed logs and provide on-the-job training to assigned personnel.
Assist with control room operations as required.
Report abnormal or irregular conditions during work processes and take corrective action within the scope of operational instructions.
Support maintenance personnel during unit shutdowns.
Contribute to the upkeep of plant operating manuals, technical references, prints, diagrams, and preventive/predictive maintenance records.
Perform other reasonable tasks as assigned.

Power plant environment that may involve entering confined spaces, crawling through narrow areas, and handling hazardous materials, with exposure to fumes, extreme temperatures, and noise. Work may include high heat near equipment and varying outdoor weather conditions.
Some duties may require the use of protective equipment, which can include hard hats, safety glasses, and eye protection, air masks/respirators, ear protection, chemical suits, flame-resistant clothing (FRC), hot gloves, high-voltage protective gear, and fall protection. Fit testing for respirators may be required. Strict smoking restrictions apply in and around the facility.
Fitness for Duty
All personnel will participate in the Fitness for Duty Program, which includes a post-offer physical examination, drug screening, and post-employment random drug screening.
Work Schedule
The Auxiliary Operator follows DuPont's rotating 12-hour shift schedule, providing 24/7 coverage through a structured rotation of day and night shifts to ensure consistent and reliable plant operation.

Core Qualifications and Skills
We are seeking a skilled Operator with a foundation in power generation operations, along with a proven ability to support team success and consistently meet performance standards.

Possession of a New Jersey Black or Blue Seal license is preferred but not required for entry-level level 1 Auxiliary Operators.

* Work with project staff to ensure pre-task plans are being generated.
* Consult with the Crisdel's Health & Safety Manager and/or consultant with project specific safety concerns and mutually develop a plan to avert risk.
* Perform on-site visits, as required, to ensure that your project is being constructed in accordance with project HASP and/or all regulatory requirements.

* SCHEDULING & PROJECT CONTROL:
* Create CPM, GANTT and/or a bar-chart project schedule, including logic and milestone dates, to submit to GC/Owner's Rep. or to submit to consultant for creation of CPM Schedule, if required.
* Consult with Project Superintendent to maintain an updated project schedule.
* Consult with Project Superintendent to ensure that materials are available and delivered for the work scheduled.
* Consult with Project Superintendent to ensure effective scheduling of subcontractors.
* Coordinate proper scheduling of labor and equipment with scheduling manager.
* Prepare Quality Control Plans, as required by contract provisions.
* Conduct internal inspections, as required, to ensure quality standards are maintained
* Consult with Project Superintendent and ensure that an updated, "Redlined", set of drawings depicting as-built conditions is maintained.
* PROJECT ACCOUNTING & ADMINISTRATION:
* Review, code and approve vendor invoices.
* Evaluate changes in scope of work, provide cost impact analysis, prepare detailed cost estimate and review with the President prior to submission of change order request.
* Review pencil copy of payment requisitions with Project Accounting Department on a monthly basis so that monthly payment requisitions are submitted to the client
* Maintain quantity log of all pay items for the project.
* Track job costs versus estimated costs on a continuing basis and provide information to Project Superintendents.
* Assist Project Accounting Department and CFO on quarterly basis to forecast "work in progress" and to estimate work to complete on project.
* Review time cards and diaries on a weekly basis for completeness and accuracy and approve for payroll processing
* If required, create new cost codes in Heavy Job for items of extra work and/or items that were missed by the estimators. Once Heavy Job cost codes are created, forward the information to accounting manager so the new cost codes can be set up in job cost accounting software.

Essential Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
Applicants must already hold all of the following:
* Full Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) - Road Passenger Transport
* Proven experience in a Passenger Transport Operator environment (bus / coach / PSV)
* Previously approved by the Traffic Commissioner
* Currently named on, or previously held, an Operator's Licence
* Strong knowledge of PSV compliance, maintenance regimes, and audit requirements
* Experience working within the MOD or supporting the MOD in a similar regulated transport role
* Proven leadership of operational teams in a high-compliance environment
* Security clearance (or eligibility to obtain)
Applications without CPC and proven Traffic Commissioner & Operator Licence experience cannot be considered.
Highly Desirable
* ADO (Authorising Demand Officer) experience within MOD transport
* Working knowledge of JSP 800
* Working knowledge of JPA (not essential, training can be provided)
* Experience managing Cash & Travel services within Government or Defence
* Previous experience operating under PFI / regulated Defence contracts
This role requires a minimum level of security clearance and may also require a higher level of National Security Vetting. **Responsibilities**
- Supervise the crew(s) and craft workers in the application of all projects.
- Managing the performance of productivity, safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
- Collaborate with engineers, Job teams, etc. to determine project needs.
- Utilize equipment, material, and labor to maximize production and minimize costs in assigned responsibility.
- Set performance goals and deadlines.
- Coordinate and interface effectively with superintendents and Foreman to ensure smooth workflow and schedule adherence.
- Resolve employee conflicts, grievances, and scheduling difficulties, informing project and corporate management as appropriate.
- Assist in schedule planning, determining craft labor needs, material quantities, equipment requirements, etc.
- Keep track of material stock and orders.
- Ensure project rules, procedures and programs are followed consistently, including those involving safety, attendance, and workplace behavior standards as reflected in Company's non-harassment and nondiscrimination policies.
- Perform additional ad hoc assignments per managements direction.
**Qualifications**
- 5+ years' experience in the construction industry, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Must have experience and professional knowledge of heavy civil infrastructure, marine infrastructure is preferred.
o Ideal candidate will have project experience with ports, docks, wharves, piers, bridges or other waterfont structures.
- Must be able to run multiple crews across various construction scopes.
- Knowledge of various construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, engineering drawings and other documents.
- Demonstrated ability to efficiently supervise and evaluate craft performance.
- General computer skills required, Microsoft Office proficiency (Word and Excel).
- Organizational and time-management skills.
- Experience with cranes is preferred.
- Must have ability to manage and inspire others.
- High School Diploma/GED required.
