Occasional overtime and/or weekends as needed. Basic Job Responsibilities Read and interpret shop drawings, isometric drawings, and welding procedures to determine welding requirements. Fabricate piping systems on carbon steel, stainless steel, and various alloys. Fabricate tank and pressure vessels using the appropriate hand tools and positioners. Conduct visual inspections of welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Operate heavy steel fabrication machinery. Collaborate with team members to plan and execute welding projects efficiently and effectively. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Adhere to and follow all safety rules and PPE requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. Skills & Qualifications Must be able to pass a 6G welding test. Proficient in ASME process piping using GMAW/FCAW-G and GTAW on carbon steel and other alloys. Ability to pass x-ray and Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing in accordance with ASME. Previous experience with tank and pressure vessel fabrication. Be a forward-thinking individual and a self-starter.
