Our fabrication shop supports a wide range of projects, from warehouse and office erections to custom steel assemblies for universities and public infrastructure. The Experienced Fabrication Welder is a more experienced welding role responsible for leading complex welding and fabrication tasks in MMF's shop. This individual will ensure high-quality production, mentor junior welders, and contribute to continuous improvement in shop operations. Requirements: Key Responsibilities · Lead fabrication and welding of structural steel components using GMAW, SMAW, and FCAW processes. · Interpret advanced blueprints, shop drawings, and welding specifications. · Perform layout, fit-up, and final welding of complex assemblies. · Conduct quality control checks and ensure compliance with AWS and project-specific standards. · Troubleshoot fabrication issues and recommend process improvements. · Train and mentor apprentices and junior welders in techniques, safety, and shop procedures. · Maintain and calibrate welding equipment and fabrication tools. · Coordinate with project managers and engineers to align shop output with project timelines and specifications. · Support shop safety initiatives and ensure adherence to OSHA regulations. TIG Welder (Stainless Steel) Pay: $17-25/hr. (based off of skill level and weld test) +15% shift differential for 2nd shift Shifts: 1st = Mon - Fri (7am to 3pm) 2nd = Mon - Thu (1pm - 11pm) Description: We are seeking a TIG Welder who is comfortable working with thin stainless steel for a metal manufacturing shop. Qualifications: Performing both Mig & Tig Welding applications daily. Reading and understanding blueprints and weld symbols Welding Light Gauge Steel, Aluminum and working with Fixturing. Ensuring safety and quality guidelines are met Ability to stand for more than 4 hours at a time.
