Essential Requirements:

* Other processes utilized are Oxy-Fuel Welding and Cutting.

**PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS**

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reads and follows blueprints and work orders, ensuring a quality product that meets customer demands.
Welds different facets of aluminum trailers, including but not limited to: tacking, clamping, and welding with proper bead size on bases and cages by the work order; ensures the quality of welds for structural integrity.
Obtains raw materials from the Material Handlers.
Buff out rough edges using a hand-held power grinder.
Notifies supervisor of any mechanical or material issues, including but not limited to, defects in material, damage to the trailer, and deviations from the work order.
Ensures that the finished product meets quality expectations. Strives for the highest level of quality and understands the need for continuous improvement; supports the concept of “good enough is never good enough”.
Maintains a clean and safe work area; works to minimize scrap, places unused material back in the appropriate area, and disposes of waste appropriately.
Follows all safety procedures, wears appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and immediately reports any accidents or near misses to the supervisor.

The current work environment is partially environmentally controlled indoor environment. Depending upon the time of year, working temperature can fluctuate between 60F and 100F but typically is held around 70F.
The Employee must have the ability to work from heights at ground floor up to 20 from the ground on ladders or platforms of varying sizes.
The Employee may be subjected to noise levels which may range from low volume too loud and will be required to wear provided safety hearing devices from time to time. A Hearing Conservation Test was performed, eliminating the requirement for hearing protection; however, it is available if personally needed.
The Employee will be exposed to a variety of household/commercial chemicals which will require the Employee to follow company rules/regulations outlined by that chemicals MSDS.
All Team Members must wear provided OSHA approved eye protection at all times on the Production Floor.
