GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
With guidance and direction from the Manufacturing Foreman, perform welding on various materials according to design prints and customer requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Weld and fabricate new and used components of HWO and Snubbing Units as directed by the Fabrication Foreman and Lead Welder.
* Follow written and verbal instructions.
* Ability to read and fabricate according to ISS blueprints and customer requirements.
* Prepare workpieces, using a portable grinder, hand file, or scraper before repairs.
* Analyze drawings and determine layout plans, assembly, and welding operations.
* Perform mathematical solving methods to lay out and fabricate components.
* Stamp ID codes for the welding map and record heat numbers on the drawing.

• Obtains specified electrode and inserts into portable holder or threads electrode wire
through portable welding gun.
