Our AdvanTec Manufacturing USA team is looking for an experienced and energetic Welder/Fabricator 2 to join our Doors Department at our facility in Arlington, WA The Doors department works a 5 day week, 8 hours a day, Monday to Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm. The Welder/Fabricator 2 is responsible for reading and analyzing blueprints and engineered drawings to complete production welding of standard and custom product. Responsibilities will include the use of various hand tools, the fabrication of custom products from supplied drawings, fabrication of custom jigs and fixtures to produce production parts that meet customer specifications, as well as the fabrication of metal structures using jigs and fixtures in a high paced production environment. Essential Functions for this Role are: TIG welding of aluminum, stainless steel and steel. Cutting and prepping material for welding. Read and interpret drawings or welding process specifications. Adhere to all safety standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) or work instructions when operating tools and machinery and performing tasks Troubleshoots manufacturing issues and follows reporting process Ensures work area remains clean, safe and clear of hazards Monitor parts usage and report on any material issues Ensure accuracy and completion of assigned tasks and projects. Keep detailed and accurate reports and documentation per the Quality Management System. Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology, compliance, and techniques.
