JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Operating equipment using safe work habits. Inspect welds and work pieces to acceptance of the standard they are working to. Measure work pieces with straight edges, tape measure, scale, or templates to ensure proper fit. Weld steel, stainless steel, aluminum, invar or other specified alloys per their qualifications and the applicable WPS. Clamping, holding, tack-welding, bracing, grinding or bolting component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding. Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. Lift or move materials and finished products using overhead cranes / hi-lo Able to read drawings and weld symbols Maintains continuity among work shifts by adhering to required documentation and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
