Must be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 75lbs. Must be able to work in kneeling or prone position for extended periods of time. Must be able to bend/twist freely at neck and waist. Must be capable of simple grasping with both hands. Must be capable of driving and operating multiple types of fleet vehicles including forklifts. Must be able to crawl under and inside equipment to locate and work on problems. Work Environment : Typical work week is Monday through Friday with a morning shift. Will be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, noise, and odors & smells associated to the refuse industry. Ability to work in an environment with frequent changes in equipment, city / town and routes based on the operational needs for the day and or week. Schedules can vary, including early start times and evening start times. Overtime and weekend work are required on occasion.
