Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Reno, NV, will be considered. They work with various materials, such as galvanized steel and aluminum, interpret blueprints, and ensure the quality and integrity of our products (roof curbs, drop boxes, etc.). Duties include, but are not limited to: * Fabricate custom and standard products from blueprints with high attention to detail and efficiency. * Communicate with shop manager and engineering on product issues and assist with streamlining methods for production. * MIG weld 10-to-20-gauge galvanized steel for adapters, curbs, and other products. * Conduct visual inspections of welded components to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. * Work closely with engineers, fabricators, and other team members to ensure efficient workflow and successful project completion. * Under direct supervision, spot welds together metal components. What We Are Looking For * Familiar with safe welding practices. * Capable of learning to read fabrication drawings with some instruction. * Ability to read and interpret blueprints, tape measures, diagrams, or assembly instructions. * Capable of welding 10-to-20-gauge galvanized steel. (Can be taught) * Must be physically capable of loading fabrication parts onto the weld table. * Capable of blueprint reading and interpretation skills. * Individual must be a self-starter and need minimal guidance on daily task. * Must be quality oriented with strong attention to detail. * Individual must have a working knowledge of MIG welding machines with respect to preventive maintenance and control settings to obtain maximum efficiencies. * Able to move objects weighing up to 75 pounds.
