Knowledge of crane operations (including rigging and signaling) Reading detailed erection and fabrication drawings. Planning the sequence and methods of fitting up, welding, repairing, and constructing tanks. Completing job safety analysis, safety audits, site-specific training, and other safety training. Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dependable Welder with hands-on experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in TIG welding and have a strong understanding of welding safety practices, blueprints, and fabrication techniques. This position requires a high level of precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities: • Perform TIG welding to fabricate or repair metal parts and structures • Interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and engineering drawings to determine project requirements • Inspect welds to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards • Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment in safe and efficient working condition • Prepare surfaces and materials for welding (cutting, grinding, cleaning, fitting) • Use measuring tools and inspection gauges to ensure accurate dimensions • Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) • Assist in other fabrication or assembly tasks as needed • Maintain a clean and organized work area Qualifications: 3+ years of welding experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or fabrication setting • Highly proficient in TIG welding; MIG and Stick welding a plus • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols • Familiarity with a variety of hand and power tools used in metalworking • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality • Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various positions (bending, kneeling, overhead) • Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic Nice to Have: • Formal welding certification (AWS or equivalent) • Experience with aluminum or stainless steel welding • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain • Experience with fabrication techniques and sheet metal work What We Offer: ✅ 95% employer-paid medical, dental and vision insurance for employee ✅ 401k with 4% employer match ✅ Paid time off (PTO) and holidays ✅ A supportive, team-oriented work environment ????
