Responsibilities Use TIG Processes to weld stainless/carbon steel piping and or structure for process/utility piping in food processing plants Perform installation of all components of piping systems Draw and interpret isometric drawings and prints Determining the required tools, materials, and welding procedures. Cut and thread pipe to specifications, using tools such as saws, cutting torches, pipe threaders and benders Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment according to specifications Inspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipelines, using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing, observation, or other methods Lay out full scale drawings of pipe systems, supports, and related equipment, following blueprints Assists with other welders and fitters as needed on job sites Cleans up jobsites after completion Requirements Trade school and/or 2+ years of TIG welding experience and drawing isometric drawings Ability to travel 100% of the time. Availability to work nights, holidays, and weekends as needed. Ability to lift 50+ lbs. OSHA 10, preferred. Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
