SCOPE: Perform welds on heavy gauge steel components to exacting specifications, as part of the manufacture of large, custom, special purpose vehicles, working within the limits of standard or accepted practice. Van Body Specialist Primary Responsibilities:
Repair truck cab and van bodies with Bondo and fiberglass.
Repair wiring and lighting.
Apply imaging decals.
Repair van body structural components and bumpers.
Team Members are expected to willingly lend assistance in additional areas as necessary, following the directives and guidance of their supervisor.
Van Body Specialist Minimum Qualifications:
Driver's license
Provide your own hand tools.

ABOUT THE JOB:
The primary focus of this position is to perform welding in the fabrication, repair and maintenance of WillScot Units and Offices.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Principal Responsibilities:
Cuts and/or joins metal parts to fabricate or repair steel boxes and offices, using tools such as a plasma cutter, welder, torch, chop saw grinder and other power tools
Installs doors, locks, and other parts to meet needs of customers
Maintains records of work completed in order to provide an accounting of activities in on the shop floor.
Maintains inventory of supplies routinely used in the operation of the welding shop by inspecting stock and ordering goods as needed. Inspects parts and supplies received in order to verify accuracy of invoices
