Position Summary: The Welder works in a fast-paced, results-oriented production environment and is responsible for reporting on a variety of items, including garbage, recycling, yard waste containers, vehicle assemblies, and facilities components. This position schedule is Sunday-Thursday, 6:00 pm-4:00 am. Your Role: Repairs, modifies, or fabricates a variety of metal w,ork including waste containers, vehicle assemblies, and facility components. Cuts, fits, and welds using gas and electric equipment. Performs skilled brazing and soldering. Uses a variety of machines and equipment in and out of repair areas. May operate heavy equipment as needed. Take an active role in the improvement of safety and health in the workplace. Participate in all required Company meetings, including weekly safety meetings.
