Thoroughly cleans work area by putting all items in appropriate locations. Successfully completes Pay for Skills and Training Within Industry (TWI) programs. Ability to identify all techniques of welding (TIG, MIG, Arc etc.) and know all properties of various types of metals and how heat affects them. Completion of welding certification(s) required by company and/or client. Must have locking toolbox and tools necessary to perform the job. Must be able to successfully complete all required pre-hire requirements. Physical/Site Requirements: Lift and carry heavy items weighing up to 45 pounds. Move in and around confined and cluttered places, and uneven areas. Full range of motion and flexibility consistent with age. Work up to a 12-hour shift in varying temperature extremes and other outside conditions. Climb and maintain balance on steel framework, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds.
