Enter coil labels into Kiosk then apply to a sheet and turn in at end of shift. Scans the coil into the tube mill machine using the Phoenix Bridge. Keeps track of weight needed to fill the work orders. Notifies operator of any mislabeled coils or shortages with slit coils. Before butt-welding insure both ends are joined and flattened properly. MUST grind every weld! Watch for tail-out of coil and alert mill operator if accumulator supply is low. Fill accumulator then set to mill match. Monitor Accumulator to ensure mill can attain maximum speed. Give instructions to other mill workers as needed. Assist on change overs for minimal downtime between production runs. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area for weekly inspections. Work with Maintenance and Engineering to improve equipment operation and uptime. Other duties as assigned. .
