Technique, Inc. is currently looking for a robotic welding technician who will use MIG/TIG welding equipment in accordance with job and customer demand, welding both stainless and carbon steel. The welder will support the quality assurance team with part layouts and inspections, requiring a basic knowledge of GD&T and print reading. They will also assist in the design, development and implementation of production fixturing, and operate and recover welding robots for all phases of production. Job Responsibilities: Ability to set up the welder and weld basic GTAW and GMAW mild steel joints Ability to read and apply basic weld symbols Ability to distinguish different material types Understanding of weld fixture locations and return process Ability to change over wire and gas for regular operations Demonstrate ability to set up and troubleshoot projection welder and change settings accordingly Basic blueprint reading test Required: High School Diploma or GED.
