Cost for WTTI to issue weld certification will be paid for by RD&S. Time to complete certifications will be on employee. This must be completed prior to or within 90 days of employment. * Read and understand drawings associated with the installation of an industrial refrigeration system and efficiently install sections of system as directed. * Attend all company sponsored events. * Attend all required company meetings, construction meetings, and monthly safety meetings. * Supply personal hand tools and welding shield as required for this position. * Complete the OSHA 10 online course prior to start date. This online training course will be paid for by RD&S. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Required Skills/Abilities: * Thorough understanding of machines and tools used in welding including designs, uses, maintenance and repair. * Basic understanding of design techniques, principles, and tools necessary for the precise production of technical plans, drawings, models, and blueprints. * Excellent ability to read and listen to assignments given in a variety of forms. * Basic understanding of mathematics as related to welding assignments. * Ability to get a TWIC card to work at facilities operated under Dept of Homeland Security * Must be able to get a clean DOT physical. Welding trucks fall under DOT regulations Education, Certifications, and Experience: * OSHA-10 required. * Completion of a formal apprenticeship OR successful completion of an in-company, training program preferred.
