Responsibilities: As a Fabricator and Welder at Farber Specialty Vehicles, you will be responsible for the fabrication, welding, and assembly of specialty vehicles. Your duties will include but are not limited to: Reading blueprint layouts and engineering drawings. Fabricating materials to specifications. Laying out and building assemblies, including generators, slide-out rooms, and hydraulic leveling jacks. Setting up welding equipment. Qualifications Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: We welcome candidates with diverse backgrounds and experience levels. While manufacturing experience is a plus, it is not required. We are looking for individuals who possess the following skills and abilities: Competency with a variety of power tools such as drills, jig saws, rivet guns, etc. Knowledge of machine operation, cutting, sawing, drilling, and grinding parts is desirable. Experience using MIG and TIG equipment is a plus (not required for fabricators and installers). A high sense of urgency to meet all production goals accurately. Knowledge of relevant safety standards and a willingness to use personal protective equipment. Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, push, and pull throughout a 10-hour shift. Ability to lift 25-50 lbs.
