General Job Description: The adjunct faculty is responsible for providing up to date and quality instructional classes in their area of expertise, in keeping with the philosophy and objectives of the Warren County Vocational School District and its adopted Board of Education policies. This training will provide well-planned current instruction that meets the needs of students and business and industry. The Welding Instructor provides course instruction and lab work for students for training entry-level and skill upgrade welding.
Qualifications:
* Ability and desire to teach in a classroom
* Five years recent and verifiable welding experience in MIG, TIG, ARC
* Must successfully complete Mig, Tig, and Arc certification testing within one year of date of hire
* Teaching experience is desired
* Valid or ability to obtain Teaching Permit, through The Ohio Department of Education
* Willingness to work with students and colleagues as a team member
* Strong communication, organizational and customer service skills
* History of good job attendance
* Valid Ohio Driver's License
* Must pass criminal background check after job offer is made
Responsibilities:
* Provides course instruction and lab work for the students. Students may be seeking training for entry-level positions or upgrading their skills within the welding industry.

General Purpose: The line operator is responsible for the manufacturing, processing and packaging for all products. * Manage classroom and shop/lab by performing preventative maintenance on all equipment. This includes updating guards and safety modifications per OSHA regulations which ensure a productive and safe learning environment.
* Work to provide clear Welding pathways and subsequent partnerships with secondary education. Provide instruction and technical support to NWTC Corporate Training and Economic Development
* Instructors will provide feedback to students based on their inspection and assessment of student weldments in accordance to code.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE
* A Technical Diploma OR State of Wisconsin Journey-worker's certificate, plus five years direct occupational experience.
* At a minimum, occupational experience has to have occurred at least 1 year within the last 5 years.
* Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) preferred.
* Employment is conditional on the completion of a background check and drug test with acceptable results.
Additional requirements upon hire:
* Pass four 6G pipe tests per NWTC standard within first year of employment (may only teach processes after 6G pipe test successfully passed)
* Enroll in CWI classes within first six months if not credentialed as a CWI.
* No instructor shall teach a class unless they have work experience or have successfully passed classes on said subject since hiring.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Previous teaching experience with adult learners is preferred
* Ability to work non-standard hours including evening and weekend hours

A Brief Overview

As a 1st shift Machine Operator / Spiral Paper Tube Winder Technician, your efforts are at the core of our business! You start each shift by reading your work order and reviewing the job specs. Using a ruler and calipers, you measure materials and select the correct paper size and ply. You then set up the spiral paper tube winder by loading the paper and preparing the adhesive. As the machine runs, you monitor it closely to ensure that our high standards of quality are met. Thanks to your mechanical aptitude, you're able to troubleshoot minor issues and safely clear jams. Safety is your highest priority as you operate machines, so you make sure to follow all rules.
As a dependable worker, you take accountability for managing your material inventory and alerting personnel when supplies run low. You ensure that clients are happy with their custom orders by carefully counting or weighing products packed into cartons, then printing and applying labels.
