Schedule: 1st shift Monday-Thursday 6am-3pm & Friday 6am - Noon
Responsibilities:
Performs welding and/or fitting, set-up, and layout of raw and formed metal in the creation of metal products
Basic ability to read prints, tolerances, and job requirements
Cleans and/or grinds welds
Performs general basic maintenance on equipment and workstation ensuring a clean, safe and orderly work environment
Checks of quality of welds, repairing as needed
Performs basic use of grinders, bevellers, torches, and other standard welding equipment
Support our lean manufacturing process with 5S
Adhere to ISO 9001 company standards, work instructions and procedures
Required Education/Experience/Skills:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Welding Certificate or 3 or more years' welding experience
Prior TIG Welding required
Mechanical aptitude
Ability to multitask
Basic computer knowledge preferred
Dependability a must
Blueprint and Schematic Reading required
