* Safely and accurately lay out and fabricate straight lengths of ductwork, cones, elbows, tapers and miscellaneous parts utilizing a bending roll
* Safely and accurately lay out and fabricate square and rectangular spouting, square to rounds, tapers, offset fittings and various parts utilizing a press brake
* Safely and accurately measure and cut various sheet metals utilizing a sheet metal shear
* Safe operation of an ironworker machine to punch, shear and cut
* Safe operation of a drill press, punch press, hand grinder and other tools of the trade
* Ability to tack weld and/or final weld all fabrications utilizing SMAW, MIG and GTAW of mild steel and stainless steel
* Thorough understanding of techniques to set up welding machines and gases
* Ability to square up and weld various geometries and components
* Ability to perform vertical and horizontal welding
* Understanding of various weld form symbols on blueprints
* Reading and understanding of blueprints/drawings, and developing a cut list and/or material list accordingly
Other preferred qualifications sought include:
