The Welder reports to the manufacturing supervisor and is responsible for manual TIG tacking and welding of various alloys. The position also involves minor TIG welding of stainless alloys. The position works under close supervision and uses limited decision-making and involves limited contact with external suppliers or customers.
Woodward in Zeeland, MI is looking for TIG Welder 1 on our 2nd shift, Monday through Friday from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm to join our team. What you will be doing
Essential Functions
Clean, assemble and inspect parts per applicable work instructions.
Communicate information to others about project status, updates, specific instructions etc.
Complete necessary paperwork and computer entries accurately and in a timely manner.
Manufacture/inspect production parts using welding processes and procedures.
Basic assessment of weld parameter inputs and make adjustments during welding.
Identify nonconforming material according to procedures.
