ABOUT THE JOB:
The primary focus of this position is to perform welding in the fabrication, repair and maintenance of WillScot Units and Offices.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Principal Responsibilities:
Cuts and/or joins metal parts to fabricate or repair steel boxes and offices, using tools such as a plasma cutter, welder, torch, chop saw grinder and other power tools
Installs doors, locks, and other parts to meet needs of customers
Maintains records of work completed in order to provide an accounting of activities in on the shop floor.
Maintains inventory of supplies routinely used in the operation of the welding shop by inspecting stock and ordering goods as needed. Inspects parts and supplies received in order to verify accuracy of invoices

A day in the life of a Welder at REV:
* Perform all GMAW (MIG) welding procedures including machine settings, bottles, and necessary fittings

We are currently seeking an experienced Welder to join our manufacturing team in Apopka, FL. From prototyping advanced systems to executing high-volume production programs, our welders play a vital role in delivering quality products to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Construct and repair metal components using industry-standard welding techniques (MIG and/or TIG).
Weld various metals, including aluminum and specialty alloys, on large platforms, structures, and assemblies.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, parts lists, and technical sketches.
Perform precision welding in flat, vertical, overhead, and in-place positions as needed.
Measure and examine workpieces to ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications.
Set up jigs, clamping fixtures, and tools to ensure alignment and perpendicularity.
Preheat workpieces using torches or heating furnaces when required.
Identify and report defective materials, faulty equipment, or improvement opportunities in product design or processes.
Grind, deburr, and smooth rough welds or surfaces to meet quality standards.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturability and support design intent.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of hands-on welding experience, with a strong emphasis on aluminum and specialty alloys.
Proficient in MIG and/or TIG welding techniques.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.
Proficient with common hand and power tools, including drills, grinders, saws, and calipers.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a high-paced production environment.
High school diploma or trade school certification required.
Must supply personal hand tools and ANSI-certified welding helmet (including wrenches, sockets, pliers, screwdrivers, calipers, measuring tapes, etc.).
Willing to work 2nd shift schedule on Monday - Thursday 3:30pm - 12:00am
