Safe Fleet is seeking experienced Welders for 1st and 2nd Shift!
Hours: compressed 10-hr work schedule
1st: Monday - Thursday 6:00 am - 4:30 pm, possible overtime on Fridays
2nd: Monday - Thursday 3:30 pm - 2:00 am, possible overtime on Fridays (+$1.50/hour Shift diff)
Location: Belton, Missouri
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Welding of galvanized, carbon steel and aluminum materials and assemblies
Plasma and stitch cutting
Weld Platforms and pennant plates as needed
Prepare assemblies for shipping
Preform inspections of own work
Maintain Kan Ban Levels
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education, Experience and Qualifications:
High School Diploma/Equivalent
6 months of hands-on experience in a manufacturing facility, small part assembly preferred.
Ability to work overtime and weekends, as needed.
Reliable and dependable attendance.
Mig/Tig wire feed welding skills; Experience in Aluminum welding and Robotics strongly preferred
Ability to communicate verbally and in written form with supervisors and co-workers
Mechanical aptitude preferred.
Physical requirements include frequent reaching, gripping and carrying up to 50 lbs., plus frequent standing, stooping, bending, squatting, and walking.
Working environment is an unheated and non air conditioned manufacturing/warehouse setting.
Safety glasses with side shields are required in the manufacturing environment.

Must handle multiple tasks and perform effectively in a fast paced, high stress work environment.
Must have or be able to obtain certification by CWI
