Job Description
An Ingalls Welder is responsible for the joining together of different types of metal materials with a variety of welding processes; the most basic of which are, Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) also known as "stick welding” and Flux-Core Arc Welding (FCAW) also known as “wire welding.” The shipyard environment is an around the clock manufacturing setting. Ingalls shipyard production areas at times involve working at different heights, confined spaces, different weather conditions as well as multiple shifts 24 hours a day. As with most every position in the shipyard, a Welder may be required to work either day or night dependent upon the number of ships under construction at any one point in time. Ingalls stresses the practice of working safely in all situations with safety procedures meeting, and most times, exceeding industry standards.

Evaluate customers' needs, apply knowledge of golf club features and benefits, and make recommendations on the right golf clubs for the customer.
Educate customers on our golf products and help them compare differences to make an educated decision.
Operate launch monitor and golf simulator equipment to provide customer with valuable data during golf club fitting process.
Research merchandise availability via computer database; requisitioning merchandise from the stockroom and taking inventory of stock where needed.
Assist with vendor's floor moves, merchandising, and keeping the sales floor organized and clean to meet Worldwide Golf and vendor's standards.
Once fully trained, recognize and suggest ways to improve processes.
Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
Ability to spend work time standing or moving around the store. Physical activities include bending, stooping, lifting (up to 15 pounds), carrying, walking and/or reaching on a frequent basis.
Have a working knowledge of word-processing, spreadsheet, inventory, internet and order processing systems.
Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
Qualifications Desired:
Golf knowledge/background is required
1+ years of club fitting experience is preferred
