Process Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to improve machining processes, reduce cycle times, and enhance overall efficiency while maintaining high-quality standards. Read, comprehend, and execute processes and procedures according to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) which are necessary to properly operate the equipment and manufacture the product. Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and operate hand tools necessary to set-up, take apart, troubleshoot, and to operate equipment. Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting components to ensure proper functioning and extend equipment lifespan. Perform other projects and duties as assigned. Job Requirements: BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Must have 6" steel toe leather boots. Must have experience in primarily TIG welding and MIG welding. Proficiency in TIG welding techniques, particularly on aluminum materials, to produce high-quality welds with minimal defects. Ability to read and interpret welding symbols, blueprints, and engineering drawings. Familiarity with different grades and types of aluminum and their corresponding welding requirements. Two years of experience working in a manufacturing environment. Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions. Assess welded surfaces, structures and components to identify errors. Weld small and large components such as steel tubing, aluminum, and stainless steel. Must be able to read, write and comprehend plant directives written in English. ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma required, and technical secondary education is preferred. Perform simple mathematics to comprehend and interpret process sheets, SOP manuals, tally sheets, etc. and to keep accurate account of materials used during manufacturing process including scrap amounts.
