* Supports site wide initiatives for streamlining manufacturing for welding related applications (standardization or work scopes, work cell development/ownership, process improvements, etc.).
* Programs welding parameters on programmable equipment.
* Trains and assists welders/operators in production welding environment on process, welding equipment, qualification requirements, etc.
* Follows detailed manufacturing plans, providing direction to shop personnel and supervision.
* Support equipment related improvement projects such as identifying and procuring new welding equipment, coordinating PM activities for existing equipment, evaluating spare parts inventory, etc.
* Prepares and reviews welding/fabrication support material and training aids (i.e., bead placement sketches, setup sheets, welding instructions)
Required Qualifications:
* High school graduate, or equivalent.
* Ideal applicant has 3 - 5 years of welding experience in a shop environment
* Applicants should have a good understanding/working knowledge of manual, semi-automatic, and mechanized/automatic welding processes such as the following: SMAW, GTAW, AGTAW-CW/HW, AGMAW, SAW, SA-GMAW.
* Hands-on welding experience not required but is desirable to aid in training of shop personnel
* Ability to work on a PC, using Microsoft Office applications (Outlook (email), Word, Excel, etc.)

Pay: $53,000 - $86,000
The base salary range for this position in Ohio (US-OH) at the start of employment is expected to be between $53,000 and $86,000 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits.
