The Sourcing Manager is responsible for leading and developing strategic procurement sourcing activities, including negotiations, contract, and project management, spend analysis, sourcing, and continuous improvement initiatives through total cost of ownership.
Lead the development; implementation and alignment of sourcing strategies and supplier network capabilities for spend categories to achieve business objectives. Responsible for securing materials at the lowest total cost of ownership (TCO) through competitive analysis of bids, and all other costs of ownership. Responsible for establishing commodity supply and price risk mitigation strategies to minimize any concerns with materials, delivery, or supplier relationships.
Demonstrate full knowledge and serve as a leader for assigned categories of spend. Collaborate with Director, Procurement Strategic Sourcing, and other cross functional team members to establish both short and long-term commodity strategies.
Responsible for effectively negotiating with suppliers and coaching others to do the same. Govern the development and execution of contracts and agreements with suppliers. Contractually securing materials and/or services within spending authority guidelines.
Responsible for setting and delivering budgeted plans for all direct and indirect items identified within the scope of the role, and report monthly on performance. Timely communication to key personnel of any major shifts in marketplace activity that may positively or negatively impact the organization.
Select, maintain, and manage a supplier base that is financially sound, technically competent, and strategically aligned, including supplier performance standards and measurements. Evaluate supplier capabilities and establish sources for new technologies and new markets dictated by business requirements. Compile and maintain commodity and industry strategies.
Responsible for compliance with applicable corporate policies and procedures and Code of Conduct.
Develop annual cost savings programs and implement strategies that directly effects company financial results. Create, advocate, lead and implement sourcing and negotiation strategies for key spend areas to achieve short- and long-term savings targets. Manages areas of responsibility while driving continuous improvement and develop and implement protocols and practices to ensure effectiveness and efficiencies of strategic initiatives.
Analyze industry trends and evolving technology to proactively identify supply base issues to mitigate issues to minimize risk, protect continuity of supply, and exploit emerging opportunities that benefit Wells.

Bachelors degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business, and Materials Management preferred or related field.
Minimum of five years experience in Sourcing/Supply Chain/Operational Leadership.
Knowledge of Purchasing, Price Risk Management, and Supply Chain.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements associated with food products.
Exceptional communication skills (both oral and written) and presentation skills.

A Brief Summary of This Position:
The Commodity Manager - Indirect will lead and manage aspects of the Global Supply Management process for Indirect spend. This position will work to identify and drive productivity within the category, network with Valmont facilities to build a strong project funnel, support cross-functional teams (Operations, Engineering, Quality, Product Management) by ensuring timely supply of quality Indirect materials and services and will support various initiatives driven by leadership, such as driving productivity through VA/VE and e-Sourcing. This position will also work to review the existing supply base and will evaluate suppliers from a GME (Grow, Maintain, Exit) perspective.
The Commodity Manager works with divisional manufacturing management teams to identify and initiate sourcing projects that will achieve cost reduction and deliver competitive advantages through the global sourcing process as well as working with production control, engineering, quality control and manufacturing to source parts. The incumbent is also responsible for keeping informed of all significant risks to the supply market and for coordinating activities with the Global Sourcing team.

Requires up to 50% travel both internationally and domestically, including overnight stays
Implement and drive procurement strategy, policies, procedures, and enforces compliance to procurement policies for indirect categories and works to increase adoption
Provide support for issue resolution between plants/internal stakeholders and suppliers
Identify category, contract, and supply risks and develop mitigation plans to address risks
Monitor supplier contract compliance

Duties: The Commodity Manager - Pure Hydraulics at CNH Industrial America LLC in Oak Brook, IL will supervise, develop the buyers by encouraging teamwork, and ensuring the achievement of given purchasing objectives. Oversee the technical reviews of the various components during the SSP evaluations necessary before final recommendations are made that will provide the future strategy for the company that is likely for next 10+ years. Job Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented, and execution-driven Purchasing Manager to lead the tactical execution of material planning and purchasing within our dynamic industrial manufacturing facility. Position Summary/Objective:
This position is for the Director of Supply Chain for Granite City Electric Supply. The individual will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of over $60 million inventory located in 4 distribution centers as well as 30 service branches. The SKU assortment to be managed is approximately 24,000 items. The position will oversee a department of 8 staff in both Purchasing and Inventory Control. The individual will have a advanced expertise in inventory management, vendor management demand planning, purchasing analytics, and relationship development. A familiarity with consolidated buying groups, rebate tracking and management and vendor engagement programs is preferred but not required. Responsibilities also included management of dead and excess stock within company policy standards as well as manage and improve processes to support overall inventory accuracy. Develop and implement relevant and critical metrics to support best-in-class service levels, quality and fulfillment rates. The position reports to the Chief Operating Officer.
Compensation for this position is expected to be in the $130,000 or $140,000 range, commensurate with experience.
Education and Experience
* Bachelor's Degree in related field
* Significant experience in multi facility Supply Chain and Purchasing roles
* Demonstrated skill in SKU stocking analysis and stock movement review
* Extensive experience in demand planning and seasonal impacts
* Committed to culture of continuous improvement and implementing value added change
* Managed both purchasing and inventory control functions at senior management level
* Proficiency in report development and data analytics required
* Demonstrated skill in vendor and relations management and performance optimization.
* Prior Wholesale Distribution experience a plus
* Hands on dynamic individual. Active in development of team and their performance

The Executive Director, Strategic Sourcing, is a strategic position for the organization and is responsible for overseeing Roswell Park's Strategic Sourcing, that delivers cost savings, supplier innovation, and risk mitigation. The Executive Director is the primary liaison with contracted vendors and collaborates internally and externally to bring the best value to Roswell Park. The Executive Director, Strategic Sourcing, formulates and implements new and improved policies and procedures that impact the entire organization and provides support to senior executive management.
Some Major Responsibilities:
* Provides leadership, direction, and education on the Source-to-Contract from planning to consumption to final disposal of product.
* Oversees and directs all significant activities in Purchasing, Contracting, Value Analysis and other functions. Ensures these functions operate: (a) in concert with each other and all organizational functions, (b) in support of organizational objectives, and (c) under leading-edge technologies and innovative supply chain concepts.
* Participates in the strategic planning of Roswell Park's Strategic Sourcing organizational objectives, develops and implements short- and long-term goals.
* Creates and ensures adherence to Roswell Park Policy regarding supplier strategy; assures Supply Chain Management and related activities align with the Institute's objectives.
* Maintains solid strategic sourcing principles and practices throughout the Institute, including total cost of ownership, return on investment and other sound business principles.
