    About this role: This role is responsible for underwriting and portfolio management of credit facilities for large, publicly traded and privately held companies covered by the Franchise Finance team within Commercial Banking. In this role, you will: * Act as an advisor to senior leadership, clients, and credit teams to develop and influence all aspects of credit and relationship strategy and planning for Mid-Corporate relationships * Lead the strategy and resolution of complex and unique challenges across multiple areas, delivering solutions that can be long-term and which require innovation, analytical thinking, coordination of complex activities, and guidance to others * Demonstrate expertise in all levels of underwriting and act as primary lead in Commercial Banking for complex capital structures and credit transactions, including capital markets executions, acquisition finance, bridge underwrites, and other complex transactions; lead transactions engaging directly with senior management, clients, and risk management * Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership on implementing decisions in multi-faceted and significant business solutions that can be large-scale and/or cross-functional (e.g., GPL (treasury management)) * Engage with Relationship Manager partners at all levels on the day-to-day portfolio and relationship needs of Mid-Corporate clients, and work with partners across the enterprise * Mentor junior team members to provide training, guidance, and feedback to support their development and strengthen team capabilities.
