Catering (Coord role see details)
Lees Summit, MO job
Must be at least 18. The work schedule for this opening is Fri & Sat 11am - 9pm (total 19 hrs /week). See the description, below, of what the Catering & Community Events team members are doing. THIS role is to do the coordination of their activities "in the field" , communicate with our Catering Director on issues, be the "go between" our field people and the kitchen operations, and ensure those serving "in the field" have what they need to be successful. If needed, the coordinator may run additional food & supplies out to events that need replenishment, so a valid driver's license with clean driving record is required. Experience with catering, concessions, serving or coordinating logistics is desired, but not required, for this role. Experience that would prepare you to be good at this is what we are looking for.
We take Chick-fil-A into the community! We sell chicken sandwiches & nuggets on-site to hungry crowds at festivals, concerts, sports tournaments and swim meets. We also have concession space at some indoor sports arenas. All cooking is done back at the restaurant so there is no cooking on site.
Logistics:
* Leave your personal vehicle at the Summit Fair Chick-fil-A

Schedule:
This position posted is for someone who can consistently work one or more of these weekly, regular events which are at the times listed below. We have flexibility for you to be off here and there (like for vacations), but we are wanting someone who could work most weeks through the summer.
In addition to Summer events, there are also events through the fall and even year-round.
These are typical shift options:
Friday evenings 5pm to 10pm

You start and end at the Chick-fil-A in Lee's Summit. You would leave your personal vehicle at the restaurant while you worked the event.

* Represent Chick-fil-A well out in the community
* Be accurate and attentive when making change
* Be a physically active person. We set up, serve and break down, so there's lifting and loading involved not just selling
* Driving company vehicles to transport our food & supplies to and from various locations for specific events and parking it in the designated space at the event
* Ensuring timely and safe delivery of food
* Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the selling space (trailer, tent, booth, etc.) and the company vehicles
