Lead a multi-talented team
Under the leadership of the General Manager, you will manage the daily operations and staff of a Wendy's restaurant with a specific focus on staffing, training and scheduling, all of which will help build and retain a 5-star team.
You will know how to identify 5-Star talent and how to help get the right people in the right places at the right time through effective scheduling. You are also the face of the restaurant to new hires, and crew members' in-particular will rely on you to teach them how to live Dave's Legacies and how to “Delight Every Customer.”
You will support the General Manager in providing coaching and development to the team. Your General Manager will look to you to help create and support a fun, inviting work environment where the team feels respected and valued.
You'll support the GM in all people and operations areas for a Wendy's restaurant. Fresh food is all we do, so we count on you and your team members to do it right for our customers every day and night. No phoning it in - well, unless DoorDash is calling.
You and your team treat customers like family. Great food, great service, great everything is what keeps them coming back.
You show Shift Managers and Crew Members how to do it right, and make sure every shift is better than the last.

What you bring to the table:
Minimum of years of experience leading people, even better if you did it in a foodservice environment.

Knowledge of food safety procedures and standards
Flexible work availability.
You're willing and able to:
Travel to other locations (restaurants, area office, etc.) as needed.
Stand for long periods, bend and kneel and be able to lift 25 to 50 pounds.
Handle weather-related moments like rain at the drive-thru, taking trash out in the summer, etc.

What we expect from you
Weekend Crew Members work a variety of shifts, specifically over the weekend. Schedules vary and can begin as early as 6:00 am and end as late as 12am . As a Weekend Crew Member, we need you to bring your positive energy, smiles, enthusiasm and sense of urgency that are needed to make us the first choice for breakfast, lunch, late night meals and snacking on Saturdays and Sundays. The other stuff? Don't sweat it. We'll teach you the positional skills you need to be successful regardless of your experience level.
The essential functions of the Weekend Crew Member position within the restaurant are listed below. Each position does not exist in every restaurant and sales volume dictates which positions will be used and for how long on each shift. Immediately before and after peak volume periods and during all slow periods, it is customary for crew members to "bump and slide" in positions that do not compromise food safety. This process means that during certain periods, a crew member will work several positions within a short period of time while adhering to food safety standards. Delivering quality food orders within specified service time goals is fundamental to the nature of Wendy's business. Each employee must be able to execute his/her position with a speed sufficient to contribute to the overall goals and objectives.
Weekend Crew Member positions and responsibilities are:
* Operating the grill, fry and sandwich stations following all Wendy's procedural and food safety standards.
* Coordinating, assembling and presenting customer orders following all procedural and food safety standards. This includes bagging orders to include all necessary items for drive thru customers, assembling orders on trays for dining room customers and assembling mobile and delivery orders.
* Operating cash registers and handling customer payments to company standard, following all policies and procedures for handling of payments.
* Interacting with customers in a prompt, courteous manner.
* Completing assigned cleaning tasks.
* Restocking and cleaning work stations throughout the shift.
* Prepping food products such as bacon, vegetables and condiments for sandwich stations and prepping salads.
* Cleaning and preparation duties required to open the restaurant for breakfast and prepare for lunch.
* Completing cleaning, stocking and preparation procedures to close the restaurant.
