Wentzville Middle School History

During the 1830 s, German craftsmen and farmers began to arrive in turn, fostered development of county Communities, including Wentzville.

Wentzville was founded in 1855 when the great movement of pioneers across our country was reaching its highest tempo.

In 1980, however, General Motors Corporation began construction of its largest, most modern auto assembly plant at the time, providing more than 6,000 jobs when it went into full operation.

According to the National Wrestling Coaches Association, since 1994, the number of women who wrestle in high school has grown from 804 to 16,562 last year.

Carol Ellis ended her term in December 2018 however her offering to honor past club members took a while to put in place.
