My supervisor and boss were great to work for!
It's still a very male dominated company and there was little room for upward growth with the downturn in the economy.
Fun company events and free event tickets
The CEO was intelligent and innovative and my leaders in our segment were smart and fair and I felt like I could be heard.
More transparency with decision making and what goes into them.
Diversity and inclusion was starting to spread, but like anywhere, it is promoting race and sexuality, weight is never an inclusion pushed.
Poor management. It's the buddy system and promoting to make sure they have their quota of a certain race or sex, not the best qualified. Very few people retire from Werner, they continue to replace experienced/older people with a younger group which I understand but why force out the older people if they are still performing?
Going home at the end of the day.
No comment here
Return to family values, promote inclusion without making others feel excluded. Everything is not black or gay, most people don't even care what sex or race a person is, but advertising it seems to be necessary for some reason? A straight Mexican/White/Asian man or woman doesn't feel they need to promote. I feel it's gone too far.
I would not work here.
They are poor
Watching management try to answer tough questions they don't know the answers to.
Getting worse
The family environment
The compensation wasn't what was told to me.
The terminal where you can bath and rest. Also the new trucks
Flexibility in work-hours.
Difficulty in switching from one contract to another one.
Per diem for food.
Made good money, liked my dispatcher, got to see the country, made new friends across the country
Never home, was home about 60 days a year
People, and good benefits
Great pay and good human resources team
Not enough home time.
Good pay and travel opportunities.
